of galaxies and dogs, creativity and love.

If only the solution to every problem was to write about it...

...or to paint.

There really is no room in this world, oversaturated with instant gratification, for the creative mind.

My dogs don't know any better.

They are two standalone galaxies, covered in fur, where the only physics is some complex formula that boils down to one word:

Love.

When you are your own piece of heaven, how can you begin to comprehend stress or money, or that there is any other way to feel except for...

Love?

Each time the recollection of this epiphany shoots across the sky of my own inundated atmosphere, my mind implodes in an array of frivolity and hollowed-out-completely-heartbreak...

...and I'm left feeling like a sea-worn sailor who approaches the ravages of a storm-torn ocean with cautionary knowing...

...and a secret giddiness for the journey ahead.

I envy those who can turn their minds to steel and face the world through gritted smiles.

Every time I've tried, I've chipped a tooth.
