5 Haikus
A small haiku poetry collection
1. Conniving
Sneaky as a cat,
rapid as a blazing bull;
I’ll grab what I need.
2. Emancipated
I’m out of the cage
free from tension and anguish;
I feel light and soft.
3. Faults
I always make mistakes!
There’s no such thing as perfect,
because I am not!
4. Play Time
I'm finished stressing
over things that consume me;
it's time to let loose!
5. Colours
Tints and shades
regenerate the
universe.

People Are Like Dresses
People are like dresses. In a certain aisle I’m in, there will be a row of dresses that are glamourous as royal, sparkly evening gowns. In another aisle, there will be a row of dresses that are cheap as thrift store sundresses and nightgowns. Some people are luxurious and valuable. Some people are trashy and frugal. I can’t like every dress I see. I can’t buy every dress I want. People are like many kinds of dresses I spot in different clothing stores.
