Alone and abandoned,

She couldn’t be any more heartbroken

Cold and mysterious,

He couldn’t be any more rebellious

Two different worlds,

One common denominator

No spoken words,

The presence of a lover

Eight walls around two separate hearts;

One that’s completely torn apart

And one that’s starting to feel

Yeah, they're both starting to heal

She's too hurt to feel, too scared to start over

He's too scared to feel, too hurt to start over

But what you don’t know,

If you just let go

As the broken pieces come together,

As you fall deeper and deeper,

You'll find what you're looking for

Now she's 22 she realised just how foolish,

Intuition is not a thing you should abolish

Two wrongs never make a right

Though love makes us alright,

Please never set yourself alight

For anyone who flights instead of fights

No love is truer than the one you feel for you,

If you just let go

You’ll be glad to know

That you were always whole.

About the Creator

Katarina Lokatmala

sometimes it feels like i can’t take credit for my own work, sometimes words flood through me and they demand to be written down. sometimes they come to me out of the blue, when i’m half awake and asleep, when i’m at work or on the bus.
