2026, The Signal Above Us
Aliens, spaceships, 2026 they will come

2026, The Signal Above Us
They laughed at the warnings,
those strange scattered lines written by
Nostradamus.
People said the old seer only dreamed in riddles,
that nothing real hides inside prophecy.
Yet one quiet thought stayed with me,
a year when the sky might answer.
Now it is 2026,
and the night feels occupied.
Not louder,
not brighter,
just a patient presence
resting above the clouds.
Three nights in a row
a light stopped where no star belongs.
It held still,
watching the turning Earth,
then faded slowly
like a thought withdrawing.
No engines,
no falling fire,
only a careful signal
placed into the dark.
Scientists whisper.
Governments grow cautious.
Ordinary people stand outside
long after midnight,
searching the sky
as if expecting a reply.
If contact truly comes
it will begin quietly.
A mind reaching across distance,
testing whether we are ready
to answer without fear.
The sky waits,
and somewhere beyond it
another intelligence
is deciding
whether to speak.
