life changes

an undeniable fact

and the time I had before

is suddenly

*snap*

gone

but some part of me

still believes I can do it all

so I tried

I stayed up later

I woke earlier

holding on to hope

that this part of me wouldn't

*snap*

fade away

but then the gaps between posts

got bigger

a day

four

ten

seventeen

and the words

are

*snap*

leaving quicker than I can write them

or perhaps its

*snap*

my motivation

*snap*

my passion

because it seems like the words i do write

lack the same fire as before

and the fear starts to creep in

is this the year i'll

*snap*

close my laptop

and put down my pen

because i feel i have nothing else to give
