This pencil sharpened by a knife

creates these words that aren’t of strife

for who knows what interpretation

consecrates by concentration.

Nothing cryptic, nothing sour,

nothing bad taste as to devour.

Hark be nimble, hark be quick,

and caution lighting candlesticks.

Much like the kat that chases light

lands on it’s feet when falls from height

and rushes to catch up on prey

retracting claws to fend and play.

Simply distracted by a toy

or silly girl, or silly boy,

or even species yet unknown

recorded on a silly phone

Try to remember yore a dream

so close for it to truly seem

that when dreams seem to crash and burn

for any answer one will turn.
