Original - Venice, CA ‘13
1100 S.
Venice is beautiful.
Not unlike a late blooming rose so often misunderstood.
Life surges behind eclectic rock
and molded metal.
Colors of a people paint the walls
surrounding Mr. Abbot Kinney.
The salty concrete is scalding.
It bends to the will of the stampedes.
New and Unusual perspectives blossom
underneath the towering palm protectors.
Piano magicians delight, dressing the wind in sophistication.
Friday festivals with Robert and John
are all one needs in this Western haven.
