10:00 min.

10 minutes out there

cowering

masked

small

10 minutes only

before the end of the week

freedom at last,

no more playing sweet

there is work to be done

before the end of the week.

10 more minutes

that's all the time

i allow them to listen

to my inside lies

too bad they believe it

none bother to look closer

if only they could see it

i

might not be so heartsore

oh wonderful world

of our planet's wide smile

something might have changed

but it has been too much of a while.

10 minutes for now,

is the hope i allow my soul

the stories i tell

for you all

10 minutes finally

has been spent up

i can retreat to my heart's hidden places

too hated to be seen.

i wish for 10 minutes

10 minutes of joy

where they may not leave me choking

for something they know i'm looking for

well, at least 10 minutes

is enough to feel.

to feel something is pleasurous

with an ounce of-

10 minutes only.

no more, no less.

10 minutes of crying

and hatred

and stress.

10 minutes only.

that is all i get.

to pretend i know nothing

and to stay silent while they smile

until someone might notice

the tears i might shed.

0:00 min.
