Hunger's a wolf, a gnawing sound,

But cunning tricks can keep it bound.

Fiber's embrace, a woven cloak,

Slows down the beast, a hunger broke.

Fruits, like jewels in morning light,

Veggies, a symphony of bright.

Whole grains, a steady, rhythmic beat,

Legumes, a chorus, strong and sweet.

Water, the conductor, clear and cool,

Quiets the rumbles breaking rule.

Dehydration's mask, a hunger's guise,

Hydration's song, the wolf subsides.

Protein joins, a steady hand,

Satiety's chorus fills the land.

Eggs in the dawn, a morning call,

Yogurt's cream, a gentle thrall.

Chicken's dance, a graceful swirl,

Fish's leap, a hunger's pearl.

Tofu's strength, a steady drum,

Beans in a pod, a victory won.

Mindful bites, a measured pace,

Savor the flavors, find your space.

Chew with care, a slow refrain,

Stomach whispers, "Full, I remain."

Planning's key, a hero bold,

Snacks prepped and meals enrolled.

No hunger's ambush, quick and sly,

Healthy choices, reaching for the sky.

Spices ignite, a fiery spark,

Capsaicin's bite leaves hunger's mark.

Chili whispers, a warning call,

Less on your plate, a hunger's fall.

Sleep's embrace, a gentle hold,

Hormones balanced, cravings fold.

Restful nights, a peaceful mind,

Healthy choices, easy to find.

Stress's grip, a tightening coil,

But relaxation breaks the foil.

Deep breaths release, a calming sigh,

Healthy choices, reaching for the sky.

Environment tamed, a cluttered room,

Unhealthy treats dispelled in gloom.

Drawers cleaned out, a sugary foe,

Healthy options, ready to go.

This symphony of choices made,

Hunger's wolf forever stayed.

With cunning tricks and mindful ways,

A healthy dance throughout the days.

Yes...everyday is a quest for food! We don't often think of this as a drive in our lives.
