I wanted rust and rainy days,

you wanted trust and golden rays.

Dissimilar, a thousand ways,

but 'him and her,' was here to stay.

solitary, fleeing hell.

Amalgamations, chasing, swelled.

Will they catch up? Time may not tell.

What nagging uselessness

would turn me purple, just like you.

Slow, steady fusion would imbue

with patience those in anxious queues.

I hate the type to cut in line,

in trafficked life, out of their minds.

Horns blasting, screaming, but it's fine.
