In the heart of the city that never sleeps,
A tremor shakes the ground, the earth weeps.
New York City, with its towering spires,
Faces a quake, where chaos transpires.
Buildings sway, and streets quake,
As the earth's rumble, the city does take.
Windows rattle, and sirens wail,
As the city's resilience is put to the scale.
In the midst of the chaos, New Yorkers unite,
Facing adversity with courage and might.
Neighbors lend a hand, strangers become kin,
As the city's spirit shines from within.
Though the ground may tremble, and buildings sway,
New York City stands strong, come what may.
For in the face of adversity, it rises above,
A beacon of hope, a city of love.
