Sometimes the world wins
in our moments of weakness
when Doubt closes in.
✨
He sees our tears fall
when we think He's not watching
He bottles them all.
✨
Tears can bring healing
to each new cut in our soul
so He lets us cry.
✨
when the voice can't speak
He hears our words anyway
as our heart calls Him.
✨
The sun will still rise
we will behold a new day
with renewed spirit.
✨
Even i forget
that He has a plan for me
that i need to trust.
✨
It doesn't make sense
but i have to learn stillness
and know that He's God.
✨
The pain of the now
will be tempered by goodness
in the end, i win.
