So, Before going ahead let us first discuss.

What is a raster?

A raster image is generally lower in resolution and created using pixels. If you zoom in on the image, you will see that the image pixel is breaking.

Basically, in everyday life, we use raster Images Ex Picture we clicked on Mobile Phone is an example of a Raster Image.

On, in layman’s terms picture which has pixels are called a raster image.

What is Raster File?

The picture we use in daily life, when we click pictures on mobile or in DSLR or when we are browsing the internet, are just the most popular types of images out there in the market.

Typically Raster files can be identified by their Extension.

Definition of Raster file?

A picture is made up of pixels (Small Dots) and when we zoom in it became pixelated, or distorted is called a Raster file.

File Formats of Raster file?

The file formats supported by raster are Bitmap, JPEG, GIF, etc.

As you can see in the above picture one is a raster and one is a vector.

File Formats of Raster files.

In the above image you can see the file formats supported by raster there are many others, But these are the main ones.

So, as you can see in the above picture there are some raster file formats, now I think we have understood what is raster and its file formats.

What are Vector Files?

Vector art is a type of digital art produced with vector design software. These programs build images using mathematical formulas to generate simple shapes between points instead of pixels. A vector graphic is generated by creating points (or nodes) and joining these together with lines (known as paths) to build shapes.

Vector Graphics in which visual images are created directly from geometric shapes defined on a Cartesian plane, such as points, lines, curves, and polygons.

What is a vector art File Format?

There are a few varieties when it comes to vector file type, namely:

AI- Adobe Illustrator

EPS- Encapsulated PostScript File Format

SVG- Scalable Vector Graphics

PDF- Portable Document Format

CDR- CorelDRAW

FH- Freehand MX

EMF- Enhanced Metafile

The most common vector file format is EPS. This is the industry standard in print and marketing.

A raster file, on the other hand, will end in extensions GIF, PNG, JPEG, DOC, PPT, EPS, PDF, TIF, PSD, or BMP.

You’ll notice that some extensions can be in both vector and raster file formats, like PDF and ESP. This is because whether the file is raster or vector will be dependent on how it’s created- whether vector or raster tools were used to build or capture the image.

So, now coming to the main topic at hand, which is.

Raster to vector conversion and we art?

And we art is a raster to vector, vectorization, and digitizing service provider company.

Now, what is Vector?

numerically characterized mathematical shapes that are normally produced utilizing drawing or representation projects like Adobe Illustrator. Vector workmanship is included lines, items, and fills. The characterized shapes are developed from numerical conditions that are put away inside the document. Vector craftsmanship involves both size and heading.

Vector graphics are points, lines, curves, and shapes that are based on mathematical formulas. When you scale a vector image file, it isn’t a low resolution and there’s no loss of quality, so it can be sized to however large or small you need it to be.

This, above image, is an example of a vector image as you can see even after zooming it doesn’t get pixelated because it is a vector file.
