dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Introducing "SCK Red Dawn at LoupGarou!"
I saw him for the first time just over a year ago, this tiny mite of a puppy, all red and rust and a funky beige color that had no real name. I had never seen a Miniature American Shepherd who looked quite like him, but I knew that he would be stunning when he grew up. The Australian shepherd breeder for whom I do occasional cleaning and grooming had done a friend a favor by taking in a newly born litter, when her friend had unexpected health problems. I fell in love with Cassidy the moment I saw him and vowed to make him mine. He "helped" me clean the puppy room when he got big enough.

From Picky to Persistent: Why Our Dogs Love Ollie. Created with: Ollie.
Getting a second dog was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Millie (3) and Murray (1.5) are such buddies and keep us laughing all day long. Millie is our confident leader, she loves humans, training, and will do anything to make someone smile. Murray is our mischievous, lazy, cuddly little man - I swear he’s a human boy trapped in a dog costume.

Nope--Still here!
I'm so sorry to have disappeared for a week, but I was hard at work on my Challenge entry--and--inspired to work on the novel that I didn't finish during National Novel Writing Month! YES! I have polished three more chapters and added a significant amount of new content. I am hoping to get the "second act" completed during this month's Camp NaNo. Once the whole novel "completed," I will go back and rework the first book of the series, using information that I learned about the character during this phase and publish them in order. I may try my hand at finishing a third book in this series, because I'm having a terrific time with the characters.

Puppy
Every day after school, as I walked past the pet shop, I could hear the bustling noise from within. The air was filled with the sounds of various animals, from the playful chirping of birds to the excited barking of puppies. It was a spectacle I looked forward to every day, eagerly anticipating the sight of all the adorable creatures housed within those walls. I was planned to get a kitten as I saw in my friend's house with sapphire eyes, snow ball , Persian cat. The kitten looked extremely beautiful, I could not take my eyes from her.

My Cockatiel is Teaching My Dog
In our household, there are two animals: Luna has been with us the longest - at 9 years old she has been my companion for 6 years. She is a little gray cockatiel with white markings, and for the first part of her life she lived at a bird rescue and rehabilitation center, sequestered in little upgraded shed with 4 or 5 large rescue macaws. She is full of sass, hates crows with a fiery burning passion, and loves popcorn as an occasional treat.
