As a native of Yunnan, I often have friends who want to travel to Yunnan and ask me, I have always known that Yunnan is very beautiful, but when I really want to come, I don't know where it is more fun, and I used to only know Dali and Lijiang from the Internet , Shangri-La these places, let me recommend a more time-saving and fun route to them. In fact, Yunnan tourist attractions are particularly many, but they are relatively scattered, although Yunnan traffic is doing well, Xishuangbanna, Dali, Lijiang, Lugu Lake and Shangri-La have airports, many cities across the country have opened direct flights, if there is no direct flight, choose to fly to Kunming first, now Kunming to Dali and Lijiang opened trains, Kunming to Dali 2 hours, Kunming to Lijiang 3 hours, very convenient; However, most of the friends who come to travel during holidays, and it is almost unrealistic to want to play all over Yunnan at one time. Of course, every attraction is excluded.

Kunming

As Yunnan's capital, Kunming serves as a hub for transportation by air and rail, making it a natural destination for tourists. It is also among China's earliest historical and cultural cities.

Jinma Biji Fang: The cultural environment and city of Kunming were originally represented by Jinma and Biji Erfang. It is also a must-see location for visitors to Kunming.

Picturesque Region of Golden Temple: It is one of four bronze temples in China and was constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1602). It is the best maintained. The Golden Temple offers breathtaking views of nature, woodland walks, trees that conceal the sky, sporadic birdcalls, and the essence of Taoist culture.

Cuihu Park: Kunming City's Cuihu Lake is a verdant treasure. It is referred to as the city's jade.

When you reach the top of the dragon gate in Xishan Park, you can overlook the entire Dianchi Lake and Kunming South City.

Enjoy a close-up glimpse of Dianchi Lake and a sizable number of red-billed gulls every winter at Haigeng Park and Haigeng Dam.

Daguanlou Park: Daguanlou is so named because it faces Dianchi Lake and looks out to the West Mountain in the distance, providing a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. It was constructed during the Kangxi Dynasty. Kunming's Ming and Qing dynasties' garden architecture is combined in Daguanlou Park, which also condenses the context of Kunming's ancient and modern garden history and culture over the course of more than 300 years.

The ancients called Fuxian Lake "Ten Thousand Acres of Glass" because of its incredible clarity. Traveler Xu Xiake noted in his book "Travels of Xu Xiake" that "the Dianshan Mountains are only rich in soil, so many streams form the sea, and the flow is turbid, but Fuxian Lake is the clearest" toward the end of the Ming Dynasty.

Visit the nearby picturesque areas, including Yunnan University, Black Dragon Pond Park, Daguanlou Park, Stone Forest, Jiuxiang, Dongchuan Red Earth, and others, if you have the time.

Dali

Dali Ancient City: Located southwest of Dunhuang, the well-known state for its literature, Dali Ancient City is home to several cultural artifacts and monuments, and the general layout of the city has been preserved.

Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple: Also known as the "Three Pagodas of Dali," the layout of the Holy Temple protects the three pagodas as the center, fusing the architectural styles of the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. There are eight platforms, nine of which are divided into eleven levels, according to the main and secondary three axes. The Three Pagodas, the Nanzhao Great Bell, the Rain Bronze Guanyin Statue, the Three Sacred Golden Statues, and the Buddha Plaque are five magnificent heavy items that originally belonged to Chongsheng Monastery and are all well-known worldwide.

Erhai: There are many attractions in the area surrounding Erhai. If you follow the road around the lake, the scenery changes in each part.

Cangshan: One of the four magnificent locations of the well-known "Wind and Snow Moon" in Dali, the snow in Cangshan that does not melt in the summer is a must-see in the Cangshan scenery. Silver jade is still heaped over the snow line even in the bitter winter, white snow, 100 kilometers of sky, and beautiful spring.

If you don't like the bustle and commercialization of Dali Old City, you'll undoubtedly enjoy the peace and traditional antique Bai architecture in Shangxizhou. You may also try the more well-known regional Xizhou Dumplings.
