Danielle Kroll has rescued a homeless cat from a Pennsylvania forest she named Travis, She adopted Travis after finding him abandoned in a forest near her home. He was starving and had eye problems that made it difficult for him to see. and decided to use her to change the lives of hundreds of people by harnessing the cat to help children with eye problems feel more confident about wearing glasses.

From shimmering violets to her favorite green, Truffles is now known for the glamorous glasses she works with alongside her owner, an eye doctor.

Kroll runs her own clinic in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA, and her primary focus is infants and children in elementary school, a profession in which her cat Travis helps her.

Travis is a registered therapy cat, and Kroll has trained him to be a companion for children.

Kroll says that Travis has a calming on the children, and that he is a great listener. She also says that Travis has helped some of her clients to make progress. Kroll says that Travis has a special way of helping children who are anxious or depressed.

When children suffer from serious eye problems, many of them are forced to undergo surgeries, take medications and treatments, and are often terrified of anything approaching their eyes, here comes the role of the cat, Treflis, to save the situation.

The cat has become a great help to the children, who are afraid of visiting the doctor. They get over their fear thanks to Trefflis, who they can cuddle and pet while they wait for their turn.

The cat is a very important part , as the children are fond of him and they all love to play with him.

"She is very charming with young children," Kroll tells CNN about the cat. "It takes me at least half an hour to try to get to know them until they realize I'm not something to be afraid of. Then Travis comes out from behind as if she knows exactly when I need her help."

Travis jumps next to the baby and tilts her head up so Kroll can put her glasses on. The kids' moods instantly change, tears turn to smiles, and suddenly the glasses don't look scary at all. It's kind of like magic," Travis said. "It's amazing how a simple pair of glasses can change the way they see the world."

Once the children see Travis in glasses, they immediately stop crying and start laughing, ending with the child putting on his own glasses.

Wearing glasses is one of the favorite things of the cat, Truffles, often sleeps wearing them and refuses to allow her owner to take them off.

According to Kroll, Travis chooses one of nearly 20 pairs of her unique and colorful eyeglasses and happily walks around with them.

Travlis plays a big and real supporting role for its owner, an optometrist, as she is everything to the children and parents she made an impact in their lives.

One such child is Giulia Migliore, a 5-year-old who was born with 3 genetic abnormalities, including iris dystrophy, that led to her undergoing 15 surgeries before she was 6 months old.

When Migliore was just one year old, she visited Kroll's clinic and met Travis, who became one of her best friends and biggest supporters after the unique cat helped her accept glasses and not be afraid of them.
