You can make your dog smarter and less bored by playing these seven toys and games.

1. Sniff it out for a while.

The Sniff Diggy Mat is a great way to strengthen your dog's cognitive and sensory skills.

Try a modified version of the game.

Start with one of your dog's favorite treats.

When you get her attention with the treat, show your dog three different cups.

If you and the dog can't find the treat, hide it under one cup and switch the cups.

Your dog will enjoy sniffing out the reward if she doesn't know the trick.

2.Purchase a puzzle to engage your dog and watch him interact with a toy.

The TRIXIE strategy game was made to teach your dog cause and effect through flipping knobs and sliding disks.

The ultimate goal for your dog is to get a treat.

Your pet will use different techniques to get his reward when he plays with this toy.

When you aren't home, consider leaving your dog with this toy.

3.Do it yourself agility test you can use items around your house

To create an agility course for your dog, use pillows, cushions, chairs, low tables.

There are physical and intellectual benefits to these tests.

An obstacle course makes your dog concentrate on the task at hand.

He needs to be obedient to complete the course and earn his reward.

Change the course of your dog's life once he masters the test.

4.The IQ Treat Ball can be used to increase IQ.

The inexpensive treat dispensers combine fetch with food.

Your dog will benefit from this toy.

Throw the ball across the room.

The ball will release treats as it rolls.

You can increase difficulty by making the opening smaller, as your dog will be able to retrieve them from the ball.

Another one to leave with the dog when she is home alone.

5. Hide and Seek is a game that stimulates your dog's mind.

Before you can play, your dog needs to stay still.

You are ready to go once she gets that down.

The rules are easy to understand.

Tell your dog to stay.

There is a hiding place.

Call for your dog.

Give your dog a good ear scratch when she finds you.

6.Ring stacking is a favorite among humans and canines.

Your dog may enjoy playing with a ring stacker.

You can use a clicker to reinforce your pet when he learns to place a ring on the stack.

As he adds each ring, treats will encourage your pup along.

This dog is stacking the rings.

We would love to see video or pictures of your pup doing this.

7. Get your dog to help with chores by training them to drop off toys in a basket.

Clicker training helps with this one.

If you have taught your dog to drop it, you can slowly mold it, one click at a time.

You can increase the number of toys they pick up and drop off over time if you start with one toy.

Learning is more than just a lifelong habit for humans.

If you want a dog that is smart, you need to train and obey them.

The more you train a dog, the smarter they become.

Half of the dogs had less training than the other half.

The dogs were given a test to find food.

The majority of dogs with more training discovered the treats even though their earlier training had nothing to do with hunting food.

The dogs were minimally trained to find them.

You can increase your dog's intelligence with continued training after you've taken a course.
