"Your future is found in your daily routine. Successful people do daily what others do occasionally!" - Paula White

It's no secret that whatever decisions we make today will ultimately determine our future. Decisions, of course, aren't really decisions without subsequent actions to support them either, meaning that whatever actions we take today will also determine our future. Let's be honest and state that the decisions we have made, and the actions we have taken, prior to this point in time, have led us to where we are today. Whether we are happy and satisfied with our life in general, or we are only happy and satisfied with some aspects of our life, or whether we aren't happy with our life whatsoever, we are where we are today as a result of the choices we have made, combined with the actions we did or didn't take, throughout our history. If we aren't happy in life currently, it isn't as a result of external circumstances, or because of other people, like many of us foolishly believe, it's because we have made some wrong choices, and because we have the wrong mindset and attitude. Those of us who have failed to achieve the success, happiness, satisfaction, and prosperity that we have so desired to achieve, can often look at those who have achieved these rewards in their life, with a complete sense of envy and bitterness. Because we haven't achieved what we desire in life, it creates that element of frustration and anger, maybe because we feel hard done by, or we feel that we have deserved better, or maybe we feel that others haven't deserved the success they achieved. Many of us then try and pick out flaws with those who are successful, in an attempt to defame them, and bring them back to the same level as ourselves. It's this negative and immature mentality that if we can't have success, happiness, satisfaction, and prosperity ourselves, then why should anyone else receive such privileges? The real truth is, these successful individuals have worked hard, they have made sacrifices, they have evident talent, and they have been patient. We just refuse to accept that fact, all because we know deep down, that we don't possess the same behaviours, attitude, and work ethic as they do.

Not only is it with self belief, determination, drive, and motivation where those who become successful start, but they also acknowledge the need for stepping out of their comfort zone, taking risks, and making sacrifices. They make decisions that they know they need to make in order to create the success they desire, and to build the future they long for. They then hold themselves accountable for turning those decisions into action, and they fully commit to them. Broken down, where do those decisions and actions begin? In their daily routine of course. They acknowledge that the decisions they have made in the past, the actions they have taken in the past, and the daily schedule they have set themselves in the past, hasn't yielded success. Therefore, they know they need to make changes. The goal that they have set themselves, and one which will lead them to success, happiness, satisfaction, and prosperity, needs to be a priority in their life, if they truly want to achieve such results. So they go ahead and start sacrificing some activities, tasks, and commitments, from their daily schedule, that aren't leading them to their goals. These activities, tasks, and commitments may be fun and enjoyable, but because they are not leading towards creating success, they must be sacrificed out of the daily schedule. This could be activities such as watching television each evening, or going out with friends every weekend, or spending time on the couch relaxing whilst scrolling through social media. These are enjoyable activities, but they aren't leading to success, and therefore need to be sacrificed in exchange for undertaking the actions that are working towards their goals. So many people struggle to do this, because they want time to relax, do something leisurely, and not have to exert energy, but the consequences of making such decisions is zero success.

One big problem with many people's daily schedule is they fill it up with important, yet non-essential activities, that perhaps need a simple rejig. People will always complain about time, and use that as their number one excuse as to why they cannot commit to their actions that are working towards their goals. Sadly, all this highlights is that their future and the prospect of success, happiness, goals accomplishment, and prosperity don't truly mean enough to them. Work is a classic example of where people use the "time" excuse. Because they work extremely long hours, it leaves them with minimal time for other activities. Whilst work is important to be generating an income, in order to survive, if the work one is doing is not leading them to achieve their goals, then why keep doing it? There's no reason one can't be looking for alternative jobs or working arrangements, where they can still be generating an income, but allowing themselves adequate time to be completing the actions that are working towards their goals. It may mean a pay decrease, but that's a part of the sacrifice piece that comes with success. Maybe a few luxuries on the household budget need to go for a period of time? Ultimately, the best solution is to have a working arrangement which is operating in tandem in leading towards the accomplishment of one's goals. That's why it's so important to be in a career that you are truly passionate about, so you can really maximize the time you are working on your goals.

Our daily routine should always include 8 hours of sleep, and 1 hour of exercise, because our health should always be our number one priority. We can't enjoy success if we constantly find ourselves battling health issues. That leaves us with 15 hours in the day to be productive and efficient. Granted that some of that time begins to be chewed up through some essential activities, such as showering, toilet breaks, meal preparation, and eating, there's still plenty of time left over for us to be constructing our daily routine into one that is going to lead us towards a future blessed with success, happiness, and prosperity. Most people get caught up with everyday life, and follow the same sort of routine society lives by, whilst the successful people of the world do things differently, and actually prioritize their goals and happiness, by scheduling in ample time to be working on the actions that are working towards such rewards. They remain committed to this routine, even though they continually encounter failure after failure, but rather than give up when things aren't creating the success they desire, they simply change their actions until they find that winning formula. It's time to acknowledge that your future is found in your daily routine! How successful, satisfying, happy, and prosperous that future will be, is determined by how you choose to structure your daily schedule in the present. Is your daily routine genuinely leading you to achieving your goals, and the future you desire, or is it purely allowing you to live on a day to day basis? It's time to prioritize what is truly most important to you and your future!
