Earning money by writing
Earning money by writing is very difficult, but the emergence of new platforms like Vocal Media makes it much easier for writers to earn money. I've seen hundreds of stories on Vocal, and believe me if you choose to write about the right topics and optimize your articles for search engines to discover, you could make a lot of money on Vocal. I've been writing for Vocal Media for the past two and a half months, and my experience as a writer on the platform has really changed over the past few weeks. I used to write on Medium, but now I'm putting more effort into writing on Vocal Media. This platform is one of the best for writers to earn money due to its lucrative business model.
I recently hit this milestone of earning $100 in Vocal Media. My mission for 2021 is to make at least $2000 a month with Vocal. I will share some tips with you that may help you earn more from your articles on Vocal Media.
Optimize your voice stories for search engines:
Now, if you want to generate consistent traffic for your articles, targeting search engines is one of the coolest ways to do it. Even though I don't write for two days on Vocal, my stories get 600-1000 reads a day. I'm a member of Vocal+, so I make between $3 and $6 a day, which equates to $100-$180. You see, over time, I will make more money as my published articles get views. In no way will I stop writing about Vocal Media. I write a detailed guide on; Is it worth being a member of Vocal+?
The following are the things you need to do to get more traffic to your voice articles :
1. Write a title based on keyword research:
Some writers write a title as simply a combination of two words that no one is looking for in search engines, and it's hard to rank for two-word keywords. Need to write a headline that more people are looking for, you might start learning about keyword research online and applying it to your stories in Vocal Media. Two tools used for keyword research are SEMrush and AHREF.
2. Write high-quality content with proper keyword placement:
When you have a keyword to write about, write a filled in header and subheader and add a thumbnail. Start writing high quality content on the topic and place or repeat your main keyword in the body of your article. If you're writing a 1,000-word article, your keyword density should be less than 2.5%, which means you can repeat your keyword less than 25 times.
This will help you get evergreen reads on your voice stories and make your hour-long work worth more than $50. Over time, your hourly win rate will increase to over $100 because most of your stories will earn you money which will add up.
Share your content on social media: 9 social media sites
You can use these 9 social networking sites to share your content and you can create a constant reading of these social networking sites. You can share your content on Facebook groups, Reddit subreddits, Quora Spaces, as stories on Medium, share it on Twitter, create a pin on Pinterest, share your stories on your blog, share your voice stories on Tumblr and write replies on Quora and share your voice stories.
There are two benefits to sharing your Vocal Media Stories on social media; First, it will generate consistent reads, and some social media platforms will generate thousands of organic reads. The second benefit is that when you share your content on social media, it is good for search engine rankings, as sharing your content on social media is one of the 200 search engine ranking factors.
A powerful package: long-lasting content combined with interconnection:
There are many studies that have shown that long-form content, such as blog posts over 2,000 words, ranks easily in Google's search engine compared to regular 800- to 1,000-word articles. If you want to increase your chances of ranking in search engines, you have to come up with a keyword, repeat the keyword many times in your articles and also write long-form content. This will create a perfect combination to get evergreen traffic. Linking is when you add a link to your already published voice stories in your new stories. Let's say one of your articles ranks in Google search and you've added links to stories already published on Vocal, this will help you get 2-5 reads from a single reader. Vocal pays the makers of Vocal+ 6 cents per reading, so you'll earn $0.2-$0.3 from a single reader.
