Once upon a time, there was a merchant on a long journey with an old donkey.

After traveling for almost a full day, the merchant intended to rest under a shady tree.

Feeling sorry to see that his old donkey was also tired, the merchant removed the heavy burden from the donkey's back.

He did not tie his old donkey and let the donkey rest while eating the grass around the place.

The merchant was very tired and enjoyed his rest very much. After eating a little lunch, he began to nod off.

Without realizing it, his old donkey was wandering to a place far from where he was resting.

When the merchant began to snore and enjoy his sweet dreams, the old donkey was further away from him.

Suddenly, the merchant woke up from his sleep because he heard his old donkey's whinny.

Hurriedly he ran towards the place where the shrill sound had come from.

Arriving at the place of origin of the sound, how shocked the merchant was when he saw his old donkey fall into a rather deep hole and was flooded with water.

Inside the hole, an old donkey continued to scream and move uncontrollably in panic.

The longer the old donkey's screams became more heartbreaking and he looked tired.

The trader who saw the condition of his donkey panicked because he did not know what to do.

Apparently, the old donkey's extremely loud and heartbreaking screams were also heard by several people who happened to pass by the place.

After looking into consideration of the situation, some of the people had advised the merchant to let the old donkey go.

"It was late afternoon, while we didn't have enough rope and strength to lift it. Instead of the old donkey suffering for a long time in the hole, sir, just let it go and let us help bury it with the ground, ”said one of them.

The trader was startled to hear the proposal. He looked back at the hole and saw his donkey began to struggle and his screams got weaker.

He could not bear to see the condition of his old donkey.

Finally, the merchant turned to the people around him, and he nodded in agreement.

After that, with a heavy heart the merchant, assisted by some of the men, began to pile up the old donkey with dirt and sand.

When dirt and sand began to hit the donkey's back, he was startled, terrified, and screamed in pain again. But the dirt and sand fell on top of it incessantly.

It was in that panic that the old donkey kept shaking and shaking his body so that the ground falling on his back fell down.

His feet began to move and stomped on the ground that had fallen from his back.

The water that had soaked the donkey's feet began to pile up on the ground.

As more soil and sand were poured onto the platform, it turned out that the hole was shallow too.

Unexpectedly, the old donkey, which was already very tired, suddenly became more and more eager to shake his back and trample the ground in the hole.

The merchant and the people who helped him were amazed to see this incident. They are also increasingly excited to pour sand and dirt into the hole.

Just before sunset, the hole was getting shallower and suddenly… hupppp…! The old donkey managed to jump out of the hole.

Everyone screamed in fascination and applauded witnessing the extraordinary sight.

The donkey survived because the spirit refused to give up.

The above story teaches us about the importance of the spirit of refusing to give up in the face of the burdens that come repeatedly. An old donkey that was tired and plunged into the hole was like someone who was in an accident or a serious question.

If the person affected by the accident is just silent, resigned, accepting fate alone, and does not want to take advantage of every small opportunity to get out of the problem, his history will almost certainly end.

So, never give up if you are facing a very tough trial or problem. Keep moving, don't just stand still and wait for the time to determine the black and white of our lives.

Use common sense in our unusual to solve the problem. And God certainly will not let us struggle on our own to get out of that predicament.
