If I can only conclude this book in one sentence, it will be this quote in the book “ Don’t be in the business of playing it safe. Be in the business of creating possibilities for greatness”.

In our life, we are often presented with a lot of opportunity. On the cross road, we must ask ourselves a question, which is “what kind of things that we want to create in the future.”. Robert Iger shows us his answer in the book.

Throughout his life, when he is presented with an opportunity, he always choose to create possibilities for greatness. When everyone think that it is impossible to buy Pixar from Steve Jobs because the ex-CEO had a bad relationship with Steve Jobs, Robert Iger believe that this can be done. He is willing to try and make it happen. He believe this move can make Disney a more successful company and Pixar company can make the best movie with all the resources that Disney has. At thee end, he made it.

When Robert Iger is deciding the strategies for Disney to grow as a company. He focus on making great content by using great technology. This is because he believe that in this era of internet, anyone can create content. Yet, a great content that is built with the latest technology will be an amazing thing that people love to watch.

I had made some notes when I was reading the book. Let me share with you here.

1) If there is an opportunity in front of us, take it. Robert Iger grabs all the opportunity that is presented to him, such as taking a new project, being promoted to a position that he don’t have much experience and challenge himself to become the CEO of Disney company.

2)When we are facing a bad news, we must have confidence in ourselves, because the good news is we always have the ability to overcome it. Robert Iger faces a lot of hardship in his career, for example, when he become the CEO, people still have doubt on his ability to lead Disney. Despite all the doubt, he believe that he has the ability to overcome the difficulties and bring Disney to the next level.

3)Exercise plays an important role in our life. Exercising is about keeping oneself healthy. It focus on building a healthy body to support oneself for day to day life. Robert Iger has a habit of exercising every week to keep himself healthy.

In this world, belief system is about the principle that show us the direction in life. Robert Iger’s belief system is focusing on creating greatness. He focuses on doing great things with all the possibility that he has. He grabs the opportunity with hard work, optimistic and intelligent. He is the most dedicated person that I have ever know. Here are some of his achievement, 1) the CEO of Disney, 2) Bought Pixar, Marvel, Lucas and built greatest movie in our era, 3) Started streaming service at Disney which later become Disney plus.

This is a must read book to me. I am here, promoting this book to you, my friend. Book is an amazing tool that allow us to experience different life.
