The power of prayer and studying the Bible

It baffles me whenever I see christians that don't understand or know the power of prayers and studying the word of God including speaking in tongues, I've seen a lot of Christians that knows the power of prayers but cannot pray for a long period of time and whenever I ask what's the reason for that; most people intend to give me the same answer which is "if you try praying for long you would keep repeating words" and that's true but there's a gift which is found inside of us which the Lord Jesus has given us access to, which is the gift of the Holy spirit and that enables us to blast in tongues giving us the grace to last long when praying.

Prayer is actually our weapon in the spirit; studying the word of God is our identity in the spirit; when I say prayer is our weapon I mean it is our sword which we use in fighting battles in the spirit realm and studying the word is the uniform we put on, for example when you see a person without a police uniform with gun we intend to call that person a criminal, that's also one of the laws in the spirit realm that's why we need to study the word to be given a uniform in order for us to fight those power of darkness, studying the word of God helps us to see beyond our ordinary eyes when we pray because a praying person without a scripture in his head is like a person trying to get something in the dark without a touch light.

While growing up we were never told on how to study the bible or why we must but to only pray and that's the mistake most parents make, because once that child is grown it will be difficult for him or her to study the bible, because of this most Christians do not ever open the bible until they are asked to do so in church.

REASON WE SHOULD STUDY THE BIBLE AND PRAY EFFECTIVELY

1: To grow in the spirit realm

2: To build our eternal life

3: To draw close to God

4: To build our spirit to overcome our earthly desire.

5: To be able to grow our faith

6: To be able to hear God voice

7: To be able to differentiate between God voice and that of the devil

8: To be able to access the 9 gifts of the spirit

THINGS WE WOULD BEGIN TO KNOW WHEN WE START STUDYING THE BIBLE AND PRAYING

1: That we have powers over all principalities and power

2: That we have the gift of the Holy spirit in us

3: That we can access any gift of the Lord that we desire

4: That we have powers over our life (we can proclaim good words to ourselves and it will come to pass)

5: That we have powers to command anything on earth to do what we want

WHY MOST PEOPLE DON'T STUDY THE BIBLE OR PRAY EFFECTIVELY

1: The devil is distracting them

2: Always seeing it as a waste of time

3: Having bad friends that will always discourage them

4: The fear of them being laughed at

5: The kind of way they grew up

6: laziness

7: They believe their is no God

In conclusion i urge all parents all over the world to always include teaching their children how to study the bible and also to meditate on the words and teach them the act of praying for a long period of time in other for their spiritual life to be firm and strong, it also helps in making that child God fearing and obedient.
