The Paladin of Thunder
The sword.....
Such a magnificent piece of beauty.
The spirit of the warrior within. It awakens every young man's soul to become the warrior he truly is.
Unlike the gun which malfunctions, jams, and sometimes turns back on you if you are not too careful. And also needs constant reloading, so thus renders useless.
The mighty one-handed silver diamond-pommeled platinum-plated sword.
The sun shines on the stainless steel, the hilt protects my fingers when I thrust my blade into the demons that dare to attack me.
Such a mighty amazing chivalrous artistic weapon of death and doom to my foes who will cower before me.
Singing to me as I swing it from one direction to another. The poetic beauty of my sword. The heaviness and the amazing arc it swings as it cleaves through the corpses of the demons that slice through. My right hand will never let go of it as I enter combat.
Magnificent.... and not one ounce of the black blood stains the pure beauty of this amazing weapon of awesomeness....
Of course, the sword isn't the only weapon a true Paladin of Thunder carries.
There is the shield.
The big brother of the sword. A very important piece of the Paladin's arsenal of warfare.
The shield protects me.
Protects me from the flaming armor-piercing arrows that fall onto me. Praying to target my fragile heart of life. The shadowy shade of my shield saves me from all harm and fear.
The shield also becomes a weapon to push and smash those who are unjust and cruel.
The shield.....my protector and faithful companion in times of trouble and need.
I thank the God who has given me the shield to protect me from all weapons that harm me. And the uniqueness of how it was made to withstand everything, and I mean EVERYTHING: from a talon skin-piercing scar to an armor-piercing rocket round shell that is just buzzing an instant death invitation all for you.
Of course. I wouldn't enter the battle without my armor.
Let's start off with the breastplate.
The identity of who I am. Who I represent, and to show that I have a purpose to fight!
Not some shallow mercenary fighting for himself all for personal gain.
NO!
That is not the code of the Paladin of Thunder. The Paladin's code is to protect and serve those who are weak, those who can not stand up. Those who need a hero worth to fight and die to protect those he loves and holds dear.
He is a select chosen to honor his King and serve and protect the King's people in times of crisis and need. The breastplate shows who he is fighting for and that he is reminded that his King is with him whoever he goes as his King's emblem is engraved on his breastplate of such righteousness.
That is an important piece of equipment for the Paladin of Thunder.
Next... the Helmet.
It saves the Paladin from exposing himself.
It keeps him safe from the confusions of battle and chaos.
It saves him from the destructions of pride that try to eat him up and spit him out.
The helmet is a salvation piece for the Paladin of Thunder.
Keeps him from boasting and reminds him that he does not need cheering from the crowd or worry what others think of him, cause he has the confidence he needs from his King who has chosen him to fight for this war of darkness.
The helmet is an example of the warrior's humility and sacrifice to fight for those he loves and honors to the very end.
The boots of course.
What can be more important than combat boots?
Surely the Paladin of Thunder should not, and will not go on shaky ground on bare feet?
Not even the mighty of all Spartan warriors go on long marches without combat footwear.
The enemy is a coward. So cowardly that he will try to strike even the unknown yet cowardly places that we wouldn't know... our heel.
The brave Mighty Greek hero Achilles, the slayer of Hector of Troy, died by his heel getting struck by Paris's piercing arrow.
A Warrior needs to wear his boots of combat, not only will it protect his feet, but also give him the peace he needs to remember that his own two feet that carry him to war will be protected and that it will boost the morale to let him know that he does not need to worry such small things like his bare feet, for they are already taken care of.
Thus the Paladin wears his mighty combat boots of inner peace.
Finally.... the Paladin puts on his trusty belt, which protects his leggings, and holds his sword and gear together.
A trustworthy belt that he has full confidence that can hold every part of his gear together.
A truthful belt that he knows will serve him well in the face of combat and hell.
And a truthful belt shows the buckle of who he is truthful when he fights for his King, as the King's royal emblem is engraved on it.
Soon, as the Paladin of Thunder marches out on the field, outnumbered, and soon knows that he will be outflanked, almost as if he is fighting alone.
He knows for sure with the tools and weapons of his warfare that he is NEVER alone.
So he lets out a loud and proud battle cry to the enemy, showing them that he is loud like thunder!
And obliterates his fearful cowardly foes like lightning.
A Giant demonic army about to be decimated by the Paladin of Thunder and the spirit of his mighty King.
To soon cleanses the land full of the dark evil filth and making it anew with peace, hope, faith, and love once again.
