The Artist

Creation is such a strange event. For a star to be born there is an event that happens when a gaseous cloud of dust collapses under the pressure of gravity. The dust heats up under pressure and a star is born. But before creation, destruction under pressure is needed. The world was created under pressure and in darkness. But through the darkness a light is born. That is a work of art. That is creation, to take the good and the bad and find value in all things. What if your imperfections are what make you perfect? Your life is a canvas made with purpose. What if the sum of your mistakes and victories are every bit of the rarest beauty this world has to offer? You are never a writer's block, an unfinished ideal, a half painted portrait or any less valuable than what your purpose has in store for you, to be more and to create more. An artist values all things, the good and the ugly sides of life. It's the choice to be a blessing or a lesson to the world. The artist always has intent for it's creation. Do not settle for less than what you are or will be even if you are a work in progress, and we always are. If you feel it tearing at your heart, if you had visions of what your world can be, why settle for anything less than the abundant dreams that fuel sleepless night to hope for a better future. You are not a dissappointment, you are not invisible, or worthless. You are the sum of your choices to be more. To create more, by overcoming more. You are a lantern in the dark meant to shine and create a beauty, none like this world has ever seen. The universe that stirs inside of our soul is created with full intention, boundless and brighter than we can possibly fathom. To imitate perfection is only manipulation to the truth. The image of perfection is only an illusion to what it means to be human. As people we are capable of great love or great destruction. When I close my eyes there use to be nothing but darkness. Why is it now that I can see a boundless sea of dreams that this world can be. Light up the dark just as the night holds the stars in the sky. We are the boundless colors to fill the empty void created with purpose. But even in that void the dark is never absolute. There is light everywhere.
