To Keep The Sun Shining . Runner-Up in Small Win Challenge.
To Keep the Sun Shining Another copper penny glinting it’s almost amber face in the sunlight, surrounded by a sea of dirty pavement. She picked it up and put it in her pocket, eyes fixed on the road for the next.

Just Fifteen Minutes. Runner-Up in Small Win Challenge.
A little over a year ago, sick of trying and failing to maintain the 'ideal writing routine', I gave myself a daily goal so easy I'd have to try harder to fail than to succeed at it. Write for 15 minutes every day.

The 1 Minute Meditation
After all the trials and tribulations I, like many other experienced—and with more to come—I still wake up in the morning not knowing what kind of day it will be. Will it be thunderous, or will my mind and soul feel clear? Que será, será…

Discipline vs Motivation
Written by (Matiullah) (Discipline vs Motivation) Once there was a boy named Matiullah who lived in a small village. He was a student and had big dreams to become a successful person in life. He wanted to make his parents proud and live a better life in the future. Ali was very motivated in the beginning. One day, he watched a motivational video and felt very inspired. He said to himself, “From today, I will study hard, wake up early, and change my life.” The next morning, he woke up early, made a study plan, and started working. He studied for many hours and felt very happy. He believed that motivation is the key to success. For a few days, Ali continued this routine. He studied daily, avoided distractions, and worked hard. But after some time, his motivation started to decrease. One day, he woke up late and thought, “I will study tomorrow.” The next day, he again felt lazy and skipped his work. Slowly, his routine was broken. Ali became confused and sad. He thought, “Why am I not able to continue? I was so motivated before.” One day, Ali met an old teacher in the village. The teacher was wise and experienced. He asked Ali, “Why do you look worried?” Ali told him everything about his motivation and failure to stay consistent. The teacher smiled and said, “My son, motivation is like the weather. Sometimes it is strong, and sometimes it disappears. You cannot depend on it every day.” Ali asked, “Then what should I do to become successful?” The teacher replied, “You need discipline. Discipline means doing your work even when you don’t feel like doing it. Ali did not fully understand, so the teacher gave him an example. He said, “A farmer does not wait for motivation to water his crops. He waters them every day because it is his responsibility. That is discipline.” Ali started thinking deeply about this lesson. The next day, he decided to change his approach. He made a simple routine and promised himself that he would follow it no matter what. In the morning, even when he felt sleepy, he forced himself to wake up. When he felt bored, he still sat down to study. Slowly, he started building discipline. Days passed, and Ali became more consistent. He did not wait for motivation anymore. Sometimes he felt excited, and sometimes he felt tired, but he continued his work. After a few months, Ali saw a big improvement in his studies. His confidence increased, and he became one of the top students in his class. One day, the teacher met him again and asked, “Now tell me, what helped you more—motivation or discipline?” Ali smiled and replied, “Motivation helped me to start, but discipline helped me to continue.” The teacher said, “That is the secret of success. Motivation is temporary, but discipline is permanent.” Ali understood that success is not about feeling inspired every day. It is about showing up and doing the work regularly. From that day, Ali followed discipline in every part of his life. He managed his time, focused on his goals, and avoided wasting time. Years later, Ali became a successful person. He never forgot the lesson he learned in his village. In life, many people wait for motivation to start their work. They say, “I will begin when I feel ready.” But the truth is, motivation does not stay forever. Discipline is what makes a person strong. It teaches consistency, responsibility, and patience. With discipline, even small efforts can lead to big success. Motivation can give you energy for a short time, but discipline builds your future step by step. So, every student and every person should understand the difference between these two. Use motivation to begin your journey, but depend on discipline to complete it. Moral: “Motivation starts the journey, but discipline finishes it.”

A Recalled Word
Imagine sitting down to write and being unable to. Not because you have writer’s block from not knowing what you want to write about, but because you forgot a word's definition, therefore, you were unable to recall the proper word you needed. So you spend hours looking in a thesaurus or dictionary, hoping the word you want will pop out to you. While causing you to struggle for hours, even days, on just a few sentences, just a couple of paragraphs. Sometimes, unable to find the words, you’ll break down and ask your teenager to help you, fully ashamed that they elude you. Mortified more when they inform you it’s all a misspelling on your part.

Alternative Universe
In an alternative universe, I'm not a geek. I'm a handsome go-getter. I'm popular and all the rave at whatever event I choose to appear at. Within the sphere of that universe, I'm welcomed no matter what the issue, no matter what the situation. But in this universe, ain't none of that true.

How AI is Changing Student Life in 2026
Written by (Matiullah) Once there was a time when student life was very simple and traditional. Students used books, notebooks, and teachers to learn everything. They go to school, sit in classrooms, write notes, and study from printed books. At that time, learning was slow but steady, and students depend mostly on teachers. But now in 2026, the life of students has changed a lot because of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI is now helping students in many ways, and their study methods are becoming faster, smarter, and easier. In today’s time, students are using AI tools to complete their homework, assignments, and projects. If a student does not understand any topic, they can ask AI, and it will explain in simple words. Before this, students had to wait for teachers or search in big books, but now they get answers in seconds. For example, if a student is weak in English, AI can help him to improve grammar, writing, and speaking. If a student is learning math, AI can solve difficult questions step by step. Because of this, students feel more confident in their studies. AI is also helping students to save time. Many students use AI to make notes, summaries, and presentations. This helps them to focus more on understanding instead of just writing long answers. In this way, students can complete more work in less time. However, AI is not only giving benefits. It also has some negative effects on student life. Some students become lazy because they depend too much on AI. Instead of thinking and solving problems by themselves, they just copy answers from AI. This reduces their creativity and thinking ability. Another problem is that students are spending too much time on screens. They use mobile phones, laptops, and tablets for studying with AI. This can affect their health, especially their eyes and sleep. Also, less physical activity makes them weak and less active. In some cases, students use AI in the wrong way. They use it to cheat in exams or copy assignments. This is not good for their future because they are not learning real skills. Education is not only about getting marks but also about gaining knowledge and experience. On the other side, teachers are also using AI to help students. Teachers can prepare better lessons and understand student performance more easily. AI can show which student is weak and needs more attention. This helps teachers to guide students properly. AI is also making education more accessible. Students from villages and remote areas can now learn from the internet with the help of AI. They can watch lectures, ask questions, and improve their skills without going far from their homes. This is a very big advantage for poor and hardworking students. Moreover, AI is helping students to choose their future careers. It can suggest which field is better according to their interests and abilities. This helps students to make better decisions for their future life. In conclusion, AI is changing student life in both positive and negative ways. It is making learning easier, faster, and more interesting. But at the same time, it can make students lazy and dependent if they use it in the wrong way. Students should use AI as a helper, not as a replacement for their own thinking. Hard work, honesty, and practice are still very important in student life. AI is a powerful tool, but the success of students depends on how they use it. May be use it good like for searching topics and any problem face to him on his subject. Other education purpose student can use it. This give more benefits to students. Moral: “Use technology wisely, but never stop using your own mind.”

Your Supportive Comment Is My Small Win
I know that I am virtually invisible to the judges and moderators, but they are not the ones who give me a reason to write and create. They provide me with an excellent platform to share my creations, but that is where it stops.
