This is a small win
To be honest... I pulled out my laptop, sat down, came here because today was the last day to enter a challenge to write about small, everyday wins. I have a thing or two to say about this subject, considering life has been a series of tiny wins, and mine maybe a tad more than usual.

One Step at a Time. Honorable Mention in Small Win Challenge.
I trudge up the steps, mind blank, sighing as I prepare my umbrella for the downpour waiting for me at the top. I’ve walked these stairs hundreds of times over the last four months. They are boring, beige steps with a black strip at the edge. There are arrows on each side to show in which direction people should walk up or down. On every tenth step there are some incomprehensible hieroglyphs that somehow, incredibly, apparently form sentences in Japanese.

A smile. Top Story - April 2026.
"Mom?", asks the boy, walking down the alley, on his way back from school. It's one of the days when his schedule almost perfectly aligns with the opening hours of the bakery his mom works at. When he takes a small bite of the cinnamon bun she brought, small crumbs fall onto his grey wool pullover. It is one of the last days he'll wear it. The days are getting warmer, and then there is his little brother, waiting for it to become his.

More Than A Whopper
The man woke up under the bridge, he was sleeping with no shirt, and he noticed his backpack was gone, vanished. It might not have been a big deal, under ordinary circumstances, but that backpack contained all the man's earthly possessions.

I Tried 5 Online Hustles With No Money — Only One Paid Me
I’m going to be real with you. Most of the online money advice is either exaggerated or completely out of touch with reality. When you’re starting with no money, no audience, and no connections, you don't have the luxury to just test everything. You need something that works and fast. So I set a challenge for myself: Try multiple hustles and stick with the one that actually makes money. What happened next was not what I expected. The First Hustle: Dropshipping This is where most people start. It seems easy: Find a product, build a store, run ads, and make money. Except… I had no money for ads, so I tried organic marketing instead. I posted content; I copied trends; I watched tutorials—nothing happened! No sales, no traction—just views that went nowhere. That was lesson number one for me: Views don’t equal money.

Just Fifteen Minutes. Runner-Up in Small Win Challenge.
A little over a year ago, sick of trying and failing to maintain the 'ideal writing routine', I gave myself a daily goal so easy I'd have to try harder to fail than to succeed at it. Write for 15 minutes every day.

“The Iceman,” Wim Hof;Encased in Ice for Extreme Durations
“The Iceman”: The Man Who Rewrote the Rules of Cold There’s a difference between enduring the cold… and mastering it. For most people, stepping into freezing water feels like punishment. The body gasps, muscles tense, and within seconds, the instinct to escape takes over. But for Wim Hof, the cold is not an enemy—it’s a teacher, a proving ground, and, in many ways, a path to something deeper. His story is not just about ice baths and world records. It’s about loss, control, and unlocking a part of human potential that science once believed was impossible.

How Confidence and Work Ethic Can Help You Build a Powerful Tech Brand
The harsh truth about building a tech brand is that most people never actually fail—they simply disappear before anything meaningful happens. They publish a few articles, maybe launch a project, post inconsistently for a few weeks, and then quietly stop when results don’t come fast enough. From the outside, it looks like a lack of opportunity or talent. But when you look closely, the real problem is much simpler and far more fundamental: a lack of confidence to continue showing up, and a lack of work ethic to sustain effort when motivation fades.
