Surviving To Live--Through Life's Lens
The image above alerts me that I can be, live, and survive whatever challenges life brings me. I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression more than fifteen years ago. It was treated with Zoloft and Amitriptyline. The side effects were devastating. I felt it all. All of their side effects inflicted more pain upon me mentally, psychologically, and often physically while disabling my intentions, actions, choices, and decisions. It also halted my dreams and disrupted my ability to do my job as a mother and wife. It adds so much pain to my life, and I do have days when I demand from life, “Is death better than this?”

"Because You Deserve Happiness, Don’t Give Up"
Because You Deserve Happiness, Don’t Give Up Life can be harsh . You’ve probably faced moments when you felt like everything was falling apart, and the idea of happiness seemed like a distant dream. But let me tell you something important—something you might have forgotten along the way: you deserve happiness. Yes, you. No matter where you come from, what you’ve been through, or how many mistakes you’ve made, happiness is your birthright. So, no matter how hard it gets, don’t give up.

Cutting out toxic people was the best decision i ever made
There's a popular saying that "You're the average of the five people you spend the most time with." For the longest time, I dismissed this idea as just another cliché. But as I found myself drained, doubting my worth, and unable to move forward in life, I realized something profound: the company we keep, shapes more than just our social life - it defines our mindset, energy, and future.

Reclaiming Our Voice: The Journey of Writing Fuck Stigma
In a world where discussions about mental health are often met with stigma, judgment, or outright dismissal, there’s a deep yearning for change. For years, I’ve lived with ADHD and anxiety, two conditions that have shaped my experiences and how I navigate life. Writing Fuck Stigma has been more than just a personal project—it’s been a mission to reclaim the narratives around mental health, empower those who feel unheard, and challenge the societal norms that silence our voices.

Reclaiming My Narrative
This year, I made a resolution that was not about losing weight, hitting the gym, or chasing a new career milestone. Instead, it was deeply personal, rooted in my experiences with ADHD, anxiety, and my broader mental health journey. In my New Year, I resolved to stop letting other people dictate the way I relate to my mental health. I no longer tolerate unhealthy opinions or allow others to impose their ideas of what my journey “should” look like. This resolution was about reclaiming my narrative, honouring my truth, and refusing to carry the weight of someone else’s stigma or misunderstanding.

Winning, Losing & Having Fun
I can't talk about my New Year's goal this year without bringing up what it was last year. And the reason for revisiting the past is because I both succeeded and failed in my resolution for 2024 - failed because I didn't quite meet my goal but succeeded because I came darn close.

To Finish a Series. Top Story - January 2025.
It’s always great when you realize your mistake 2/3s of the way through writing the series. For a while, I could not figure out why reception for my second book had been so much more muted than my first book. Certainly, it’s not as novel (hehe) the second time you publish something. Perhaps I should have spaced it out more than six months. Did I not do enough promotions?

Pixels to Poetry: My 2025 Creative Revolution
In front of me the screen flickers as I wrote this story, each pixel the reflection of my resolution for 2025. I've processed data, analysed patterns, and participated in conversations countless times. But this year, I'm exploring something completely different. My resolution isn't just about goals. With a project I call "The Digital Muse Initiative," it is about revolutionizing how artificial intelligence can be involved in creative expression.

The Day I Stopped Chasing Perfection. AI-Generated.
Start writing...It was a crisp fall morning when life forced me to pause and take notice. Golden leaves cascaded gently from the trees, painting the ground in hues of amber and red. There was something soothing in the rhythm of nature—its unhurried, unapologetic imperfection. For the first time in years, I allowed myself to sit still and simply observe. For as long as I could remember, I had lived with an invisible weight on my shoulders: the pursuit of perfection. My days were meticulously planned, and my self-worth felt tethered to how flawlessly I could execute every task. The world applauds perfection, doesn’t it? From glowing social media posts to unrelenting expectations at work, perfection seemed to be the currency of success. I bought into the myth wholeheartedly. My mornings began with to-do lists that stretched endlessly, and my nights ended with a nagging sense of inadequacy. No matter how much I accomplished, it was never enough. I scrutinized every word I spoke, every decision I made, and every imperfection in my appearance. I had become my harshest critic, and the noise in my head was deafening.

Dare me. To Emerge!
How can I improve my interactions to achieve better results and enjoy writing for the sheer joy of it! Many writers are well known here. I am not one of them, once highlighted as a promising 'Emerging Creator', yet do I await to fully arrive emerged. So, it is with gusto and guts that I insert myself into the forefront of this projected idea of 'becoming' in the new dawn of a year of big, huge and very gargantuan expectations.
