Transform Your Mindset: Cultivating a Growth Mindset
Having a growth mindset has become a valuable asset. A growth mindset is the belief that one’s abilities, intelligence, and talents can be developed and improved through effort and persistence. This contrasts with a fixed mindset, where individuals believe that their qualities and skills are set in stone and cannot be changed. While a fixed mindset may provide a sense of security and comfort, it can also limit personal and professional growth. On the other hand, a growth mindset fosters a more positive and proactive approach to learning and challenges, leading to greater confidence, resilience, and ultimately, success.

A letter to the 21st century youths.
Dear fellow young people, Let's talk about something that's really important, but often overlooked: the role of money in our lives. We've all heard the saying "money makes the world go round," but is that really true? Is money the only thing that matters? I want to tell you a secret: until you begin to see life beyond money, you won't go far. That's right, money is not everything. In fact, how we view money says a lot about our values and priorities. Do we value freedom, happiness, and personal growth, or do we just want to accumulate wealth? Let me illustrate. Have you ever noticed how the rich and poor discuss money differently? The rich talk about investments, returns, and growth, while the poor talk about survival, bills, and expenses. That's because the rich see money as a tool, not the goal. They understand that money is a means to an end, not the end itself. As the famous entrepreneur, Robert Kiyosaki, once said, "Money is not the goal. Freedom is the goal. Money is just a way to achieve freedom." This means that money should be used to achieve our goals and dreams, not just accumulated for its own sake. We should use money to travel, learn new things, and help others, not just to buy fancy cars and expensive watches. So, if you want to make money, don't just focus on making money. Take time to build a structure that will give you money. If it's business you want, study the business well. Know where to buy, where to sell, when to stock, and when to sell. Build a strong customer base. No business without a strong foundation and structure will remain for years. As the saying goes, "Rome wasn't built in a day." Success takes time, effort, and patience. Don't get caught up in get-rich-quick schemes or shortcuts. They may promise quick returns, but they often lead to financial ruin. Instead, focus on building a solid foundation. Learn new skills, read books, and surround yourself with people who support and encourage you. As the famous motivational speaker, Tony Robbins, once said, "The past does not equal the future unless you live there. So, let's move forward." Don't dwell on your past mistakes or failures. Instead, learn from them and move forward. Keep moving forward, even when the going gets tough. Let's redefine what it means to be successful. Let's not just measure success by how much money we make, but by how much impact we have on the world. Let's strive for a life of purpose, meaning, and happiness, not just wealth. Let's make a difference in our communities, help those in need, and leave a lasting legacy. In conclusion, money is important, but it's not everything. Let's not get caught up in the pursuit of wealth that we forget to live. As the famous poet, Maya Angelou, once said, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better." Let's do better, my friends. Let's build a life that's rich in experiences, relationships, and personal growth, not just wealth. Let's travel, learn new things, and help others. Let's build a life that truly matters. Let's make a difference in the world, and leave a lasting impact. Let's show the world that we're not just about money, but about making a difference. Here are some famous quotes to inspire you: - "The best way to predict your future is to create it." - Abraham Lincoln - "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston Churchill - "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." - Wayne Gretzky - "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." - Thomas Edison - "Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground." - Theodore Roosevelt Remember, success is not just about money; it's about living a life that truly matters. So, let's go out there and make a difference. Thanks for reading! I hope this article has inspired you greatly? How I fell into running marathons
In my senior years it seems I have "fell" into a few things that are keeping me happy and more motivated about life. I am using the word "fell" not in a literal sense but because I cannot remember exactly how I got to running everyday as I do now. I also 'fell" into being a plant dad, but that's a story for another day.

Beware of cowardly advice cloaked as wisdom.
Have you ever felt like pursuing your dreams, but someone told you it's too risky or impossible? Maybe someone told you that your dreams are too risky, too difficult, or too foolish. Perhaps they said you're not good enough, smart enough, or talented enough. Well, let me tell you something: beware of cowardly advice cloaked as wisdom. Some people will try to discourage you from chasing your dreams, not because they're bad people, but because they themselves don't have the courage to take risks. They're comfortable in their comfort zone and don't want to venture out into the unknown. But that's not living; that's just existing. You were put on this earth for a reason, and that reason is not to play it safe all the time. You have a purpose, a calling, a destiny. And it's time to answer that call. Think about it, every great achievement in history was accomplished by someone who was willing to take a risk. Every invention, every discovery, every breakthrough was made by someone who refused to listen to the naysayers and the doubters. Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, is a perfect example. He didn't give up after his first failure. Or his second. Or his hundredth. He kept going, and eventually, he succeeded. And what did he say about it? "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." That's the spirit of a true risk-taker. Or what about J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series? She was a single mother living on welfare when she started writing her books. But she didn't let her circumstances define her. She kept writing, and eventually, her books became a global phenomenon. So, don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something. Don't let anyone dull your sparkle or dim your light. You have a purpose, and it's time to fulfill it. As the Bible says, "You have been called for a time such as this." This is your moment, your time to shine. Don't let it slip away because of fear or doubt. So, go out there and dominate. Dominate your fears, dominate your doubts, dominate your excuses. You are capable of greatness, and it's time to unleash it on the world. Remember, the only way to do great work is to love what you do. And if you're not doing what you love, then what are you doing? It's time to make a change, to pursue your passions, to chase your dreams. Don't wait any longer. Take the leap, take the risk, take the chance. You never know what might happen, but one thing is for sure: you'll never regret trying. As the famous poet, Maya Angelou, once said, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better." In conclusion, beware of cowardly advice cloaked as wisdom. You have been called for a time such as this, and it's time to dominate. Go out there and make your mark on the world. You got this. Thanks for reading! I hope this article has inspired you greatly. Don't forget to like and share it with your friends and family, and let's continue the conversation in the comments below. Always have it at the back of your mind that the world needs more people like you, who are willing to take risks and pursue their dreams. So, go out there and make it happen. Do not let the fears of others limit your dreams. Instead, let your dreams inspire others to face their fears.
