1. Get up early.

All successful people know how valuable free time is. And if entrepreneurs have a lot of calls, meetings, and meetings scheduled in the morning, then the morning hours are under their complete control. That is why many wake up before sunrise to take time for themselves and their interests. According to a Vanderkam survey, 90% of entrepreneurs noted that they wake up before dawn on weekdays. For example, Indra Nowy, the CEO of Pepsi, wakes up at 4 am and arrives at the office by 7. Disney CEO Bob Iger gets up at 4:30 to read literature, and Square CEO Jack Dorsey wakes up at 5:30 and goes for a run.

2. Going in for sports.

The most common habit of the rich and successful is morning exercise: going to the gym, jogging, or yoga. For example, the CEO of Xerox, Ursula Burns, works out with a personal trainer 2 times a week at 6 am. Christie’s CEO Steven Murphy does yoga in the morning, and Starwood Hotels CEO Frits van Paaschen does an hour-long run at 5:30.

“They are incredibly busy people,” says Vanderkam, “if they find time to study, then it really matters.”

Doing sports in the morning calms the nervous system and reduces the number of nervous breakdowns, promotes healthy sleep.

3. Important work.

The morning hours are the perfect time to work. While everyone is sleeping, you will be able to concentrate and not be distracted from work by the household and the boss. For example, business expert Debbie Mausuchin had a busy schedule at work and it seemed to her that she did not have time for anything throughout the day. The solution was to get up at 6.30 and think about current projects. None of her colleagues distracted her during this time, and she noticed how productive her work became.

It is the morning hours that are best suited for writing books, memoirs, or keeping a personal diary.

4. Spending time with loved ones and dear ones.

Family dinner is a wonderful thing. But some families do not manage to gather at the table for lunch or drink tea in the evening together. But the morning breakfast is for everyone. You can cook breakfast with your loved one or go for a walk in the park with your child.

According to Judy Rosenthal, the morning hours spent with her daughter are the best time of the day. They get dressed together, make the bed, and do creative work.

Also in the morning, you can spend time with your loved one. In the evening, after work, I want to lie on the couch and watch TV.

Blackrock director Obie McKenzie and his wife take morning walks, during which they discuss their plans, household chores, and workdays.

5. Meeting with partners and friends.

What could be better than a cup of coffee in a cozy cafe with friends in the early morning? Of course, this option will be preferred by everyone who knows what kind of turmoil is going on in a cafe at lunch or during a business lunch.

Christopher Colvin, a well-known entrepreneur, and lawyer starts his day by walking his dog and reading the newspaper. And on Saturdays, they meet with friends and colleagues in a cafe and discuss the news of the week.

6. Time for meditation.

It is the morning hours that are considered the most productive for meditation. If during the working day you can do 5-minute meditations, then in the morning you can take half an hour to read your favorite affirmations and mantras.

Manisha Takor starts and ends each day with a 20-minute meditation. “This is the best time ever! I recite my favorite mantra to myself and relax.”

7. Gratitude Time.

Morning time, when no one bothers you, is ideal for visualization. You can visualize the happy outcome of an important event for you, your future life, or just a nice warm day by the sea. As you know, we are particles of energy, and everything positive that we think about will certainly come true.

You can also make it a rule to thank yourself, the Universe, or God every morning for your life and all the opportunities that it is full of. Over time, you will notice how your life changes for the better.

8. Checking your mail.

While many business gurus prefer to wait until the last minute, some still prefer to deal with mail in the morning.

Morning is a great time to set goals and plans: you can plan things for the current day, week, or month. A plan will help you plan your day wisely.
