I don't understand if you have experienced this.

Made a study plan and gave it up after a few days.

Charging several thousand dollars for a gym card, trying to get a healthy and sexy body through fitness and exercise.

On weekends, you plan to clean your dorm room, but you don't want to leave your bed, so you just lie in bed and don't move.

You must hate this kind of yourself: lack of persistence less persistence, three minutes of enthusiasm. Most of us are surrounded by the same people. Sometimes it is rational to make some plans to improve yourself, but it is always improving when it matters, and it is difficult to control your actions. Ambition is frequent, often gives up; firm plans, give up. Finally annoyed, and frustrated, individuals are difficult to improve.

I recently read an article describing continuous self-discipline. It is said that self-discipline does not come out of thin air, but takes time and courage to develop.

1. List short and long-term incentives and keep them up

Motivation is important if you want to develop a sense of self-discipline. Self-discipline is a tedious and persistent process. It's hard to stick with it without consistent motivation in your mind. Short-term motivation, such as completing an immediate task, is usually completed on time because there is a time limit. However, it is often those long-term plans. A momentary act of whim does not immediately give us the benefit of consistent self-discipline.

Once you find such motivation, be sure to take care of it. When the current path gets tough, I think about what you're fighting for. This will allow you to make up your mind and keep putting in the work.

2. Identify the character that inspires you to imitate

Sometimes we get out of control, sometimes everything around us knocks us down and makes us feel like we can't move forward. It's just too hard. That's when we need a role model and ask in our minds, "What if it was my idol, what about him?" Then slowly continue to calm down and silently persevere.

3. Let the "anti-increase method" help you

The next time I want to watch TV at work, I insist on five minutes, instead of getting up and leaning on the arm of the sofa as usual. If this works, try for six minutes next time. Do this every time you want to get distracted. This way you will continue to accumulate good qualities instead of those bad habits, which will increase your sense of self-discipline. Soon, it won't be so hard to "stick to five minutes" and you'll be on track for consistent self-discipline.

4. Make a habit and stick to it

Habit is a powerful word, like water, but powerful. The best way to develop lasting self-discipline is to set routines for yourself. Do one thing repeatedly at a designated time with a similar mindset. It may be hard at first, but slowly, you will enjoy the process until you eventually take it as a breath of nature. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Developing self-discipline is the most rewarding part of what you do. Only when you start to discipline yourself and through self-discipline, you will be able to realize your values and your aspirations, and goals. Again, you need to pay attention to it. Self-discipline is a decision and a self-reflection; it is poise and transcendence of self. Those who can keep self-discipline will gain will progress, and those who have self-discipline will reach the other side of success. If life is a boat, then self-discipline is water, and water pushes the water to the other shore of your life value.

Everything starts now.

Good luck!
