My view on writing vocals
Despite the pain of writing, why I keep writing
Despite the pain of writing, why I keep writing
There is nothing better than the recognition for our work and enjoy the fruit of our labor, when we do something we always expect a counterpart whether consciously or unconsciously, with writing is also like that, when we write an article our desire may be to reach a specific number of people or communities.
Many vocal editors have been frustrated when the subject is vocal, after all many thought that vocal is just to write about any subject and that soon they would have thousands of people reading their articles, and share their content.
Well, those who think so are wrong. The concept I had about Vocal was that it was more like a social network, where people could interact over things of no less importance.
Vocal is a writer-to-writer network, that is, the people who love writing and reading, so it is necessary to work hard so that the texts really have quality in order to reach the largest number of readers.
I confess that sometimes I feel sad and want to give up writing for the vocal because I see that my texts do not have the desired reach, or when there is little inspiration to write.
When this feeling comes, I ask myself what brought you to Vocal? Why are you here? I tell myself the love of writing.
Overcoming the Pain of Writing
How good and beautiful it is to make our thoughts flow through writing a blank sheet of paper gives us infinite possibility to pour out all our emotions and feelings, without fear or fear of being judged by others.
When I am weak and with negative thoughts then I meditate on the editors of great successes, and the great vocal publication, their success was the fruit of hard work and dedication, for sure they started small just like me, more the vision the dedication lead them to be where they are.
I always remember that: Hard work trumps talent when talent doesn't work hard" - Kevin Durant. Success is basically your work ethic and how much effort you are willing to put into something. Effort can compensate for, and even surpass, talent.
My stats are not the best either in heart or minutes read, this alone should weaken me but I have learned to look on the bright side of difficulties, I don't just see problems when I am struggling but also the lessons I can take from these problems.
For example my low vocal statistics have taught me to develop the following qualities: patience, persistence, modesty, and perseverance.
When I look at my stats, and I confess that I see them every day, I say upppppppp! One more day without a reader means one more day to see how to improve, create new language and writing style in order to captivate readers.
Another great desire of mine is to be part of a reference publication in vocal. I won't give up the vocal because I enjoy being there, I won't give up the vocal because I have become a better person, because a mind that enjoys reading will no longer be the same size always tends to evolve.
My mother used to say that life is too short to be small, and that I have to enjoy every moment of life, so despite the few results in writing, I won't give up writing,
I love the freedom we have to write about the most diverse subjects in the vocal without any censorship.
I'm not giving up the vocal, are you?
