Little Things That You Can Change in Your Day-to-Day Life to Help Get a More Positive Vibe

You will be exactly as happy as you decide to be.

Maybe one of your new year goals is to get a more positive vibe running through your daily lifestyle, or you just need a push in the right direction to get a happier life. Here are some activities that might give you that positive outcome you want.

1) Take it easy.

Your body does so many things in the day that you might just end up exhausted on the couch like a potato. Taking a relaxing day is much better for your health than anything. Of course don't do this everyday but some of these tiny things will help you in the long run. Here are some ideas to concider on your relaxing day(s).

*1. Take a bath.

A warm soak in the tube can ensure a stressed mind is at ease. Baths are great for sore muscles and tight feet, making it easier to walk in the days to come. To settle down your stressed mind, turn the lights down low and light a candle. The low light will make you feel safe and warm inside the tube. Even add a bottle of champagne to calm down your nerves and settle down to the quiet noises around you. Maybe even take this time to think about what you have to do tomorrow. Making a mental list can ensure a easier day in the long run.

*2. Go for a walk.

If you don't already do so, a walk can clear a mind in a couple of minutes, and you may catch a handful of things that you never have seen before. This type of activity can be done anytime and can really do a deep effect on your mind and soul. Adding a simple ten minute walk to your daily life can benefit your positive vibe by the day. Just like nature, give up what you're dealing with and leave it there until you're ready to come back to it.

*3. Do yoga or meditate.

Yoga and meditation can help make the mind go to places you maybe haven't experienced in a long time. These simple breathing and stretching exercises only take up 20 minutes of your day and can put you and your soul in a happy mood for a while. You can think about anything that you want and no matter the thought, meditation or yoga can bring that negative energy out of your body and return it with some positive vibes.

2) Think about it later.

Leaving some troubling thoughts in a safe space for a little while can led you to an easier and fun day. You can enjoy the things you love most and may have more time to do activities that you couldn't do before.

*1. Grab a jar.

Little negative thoughts or comments could ruin your day and your personal emotions in a couple of seconds. If you can't seem to find a way to get rid of these annoying little thoughts, try to put them in a jar. In an easy way to help, grab a jar and throw pieces of paper with these negative thoughts on them. As the jar gets full, take the papers out and read them at the end of the week. By the time you read them, they won't even matter anymore. If it makes you feel even better, put them in the garbage in a nice manner. Not only will you be forgiving these comments by putting them in the garbage in a kind way, but it does leave your mind in a state that it can be ready for anything that comes flying towards it.

*2. Organize your living space.

Taking some time to clean up your world might be a bigger project than you think, and you may feel slightly better about yourself. Cleaning your room could bring a sense of independence to your mind and soul. Doing something and then looking back at it will bring you a sense of responsibility you never thought you had. Taking time to do and work around something that you live in everyday can show more than you think, and you won't even remember the negative thoughts you had before.

Hopefully these activities will bring more peace and fun into your daily life and ensure that more days like that are to come. Life is hard, but there are more things to do in it than just walk past those opportunities. Negativity is just something that we think and can easily be replaced in a short period of time. 2018 might be the year for you to bring a more positive vibe into your life, and influence others to do so as well.
