Neutralizing With Love

We’ve all read stories where people have experienced HUGE, enlightening experiences and I know, as I read these offerings, that my human self compares my growth examples with others. Since my own growth cycle has always been steady and flowing with no major fluctuations it makes me wonder which way is right or better but then I really know, deep down, that it’s just different, a different story written by another human being.

How would you like your transformation to be effective? Is it better with BIG transitions or Steady Progress?

Let’s just agree that any transformational stories give us hope and (almost) permission to believe in our own transformation steps. However, I feel that in celebrating these portrayals of success we may miss the seemingly insignificant steps that can take all of us on our own awesome transforming journey.

This Intending Transformation article came to me as I was pursuing my own process for change; a process that I use and teach which truly works.

As you may expect it all begins with small (and intended) change.

Whenever I recognise that I’m in a bit of a slump I consciously and intentionally do things to enact change. These changes are grounded in the simple daily parts of life and yet they cause RIPPLES. Cleaning and clearing are my go to actions and yesterday it was our lovely outdoor folly (shady garden spot) which called out to me.

An hour spent with the pressure washer then application of a couple of coats of a timber treatment and WOW, the folly looks amazingly inviting.

Now we’re on a mission to get new furniture for our fresh new coffee spot. See how the ball is rolling on ‘bringing in the new’?

What can YOU do to intend change; to intend transformation?

While considering this, check in with your foundations and the human body that you’ve trusted with this earthly visit. Use your senses to see what small changes you could bring about which (1) won’t rock your world and (2) are simplistic in both application and remembering.

When you do decide that you’d like to begin the ripples of change there are some steps that won’t overly impact your world but will still generate the desired ripple effect.

SEE – find something that brings you JOY or that reminds you of your purpose and keep it in a place where you look a lot. This is one Awesome sneaky step to get your brain and your vision aligned while working around your brain’s natural tendency to keep everything the same.

HEAR – listen to your own speech patterns, hear what words you use currently and decide where one small change here would benefit. This involves hearing your inner talk, hearing how you inwardly feel and think about another, hearing how you vocalize your thoughts and, most of all, hearing some of the more frivolous small talk that you take part in.

TOUCH – empower a favourite crystal or other small memento with your vision for change then keep it handy. Maybe you can keep it in a pocket so that you can touch it and be immediately reminded of your overarching mission while you’re being a human here.

SMELL – check in with your essence collection and find a scent that aligns with your purpose then find ways to keep that scent around you at different times so that your olfactory response kicks in and your core is reminded.

TASTE – This is the time to be completely at peace, for at least one meal or one coffee break if you can. Eat your food with abundance, feel the strength this food is offering to your body, love the food you’re gifting to yourself and know it’s offering its best.

Now be ready, as Intentional Transformation generates big ripples from your small changes.

Blessing and love for you on your journey. LINDA
