This is the 21st century! It is a moment in our lives that we couldn't have predicted a year ago, and that most of us wouldn't have selected for ourselves, yet here we are. The world is becoming increasingly difficult to live in. As the days pass and more terrible news comes our way, it's easy to lose motivation and waste energy on things that aren't helpful, such as worrying and fighting with people on the internet, rather than doing things that are.

While many of us have established rituals to deal with stress in the past, the stress we are experiencing now is unlike anything we've ever encountered. It's simple to go into a downward spiral, and to stop the downward spiral and to turn things around is the most difficult task. If this is the case, keep things simple and start reaching for small victories to help you feel better and climb to your success.

In this article, we will tell you the ways in which you can get your motivation back. In this way, you will be back with the others and be able to achieve your goals in life.

Ask from the people who experience the same situations in life

Whether you've struggled to stay motivated to exercise, eat well, or just accomplish anything, you may discover someone who has been there and survived. Look up some fantastic TED talks, go to YouTube and search for individuals who inspire you, and then google their names to discover their websites. You may discover brief speeches and much longer lectures on the internet; all you have to do is locate someone with whom you can connect.

Love what you do, do what you love

It's easy to get out of the routine of doing what we enjoy when we're unmotivated. Getting out of bed or away from the television might feel like a chore at times. Consider a period in your life when you were in a good mood - what were you doing? What do you like doing so much that if you had unlimited time? Remember such things and activities and start doing them even if they are small. They will surely make you happy and bring your motivation back.

Do not complicate things – Simple is better

Maintain a straightforward approach. When we're caught in a rut, we'll find any reason to avoid doing something. You may be waiting for the ideal opportunity before taking action. Stop attempting to complicate things and instead keep it simple by focusing on one thing you can accomplish right now, no matter how tiny. You don't have to wait until everything is quite right to start going on the right path.

Focus is always important

It's all too easy for anxiety to creep in and our thoughts to stray to areas we can't control. This is neither inspiring nor beneficial, and we always have the option of refocusing our attention. There is always something we can do exactly where we are, so focus on the solution rather than the problem and find out what you can do next.

Meditation

If you're a meditator who's fallen out of practice, take some time to get back into it. It's as simple as setting a timer for some minutes and focusing on your breath if you've never tried it before. Pay attention to how you breathe since it will help you stay calm. Even if it's only for a few minutes, it might help you relax and concentrate your thoughts.

There are always ways that in which you can come back to your motivated self. Do not get into darkness; follow the light in you!
