Hands Down, The Best Fantasy Out There

You're in This Fandom By The Way

Believe it or not, most people are living in a fantasy world. Where people think there’s a constant judgment on them, where there’s no solace or peace, where the world around them is surely closing in and suffocating them at their roots. But others, have a better fantasy world, with dreams, visions, and goals. A place where a potential future exists, a place that they want to be.

Most essays submitted for this topic will be about Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Narnia, Harry Potter, and other fantasy worlds, but they all started somewhere, and that place is in someone else’s head.

So it’s worth thinking about, what’s in your head? What are you thinking about? How do you perceive the world? Because the way you perceive the world likely isn’t exactly how it is, what you perceive is a fantasy.

A world not crafted by your perceptions but seen through them. The way a blind person perceives the world is far different than one with vision. Are you blind in the way that you don’t have a vision about your future? Are you deaf, not hearing the warnings of generations past? Do you lack feeling in who you are and what you are to become?

The truth is, it’s up to you

That’s the best fantasy world, it’s the one that you can create and envision for yourself.

The creators of fantasy worlds, for example, envisioned the fantasy first, then they made something tangible. A book, a movie, evolving to physical places, such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and others.

But it began with something that didn’t exist.

Your future, technically, doesn’t yet exist.

You can sit back, wait, and watch it form itself, which will likely lead to other people forming it for you.

Or, you can take initiative and create a fantasy where you live in your perfect world, then you can start taking action, making these things into a reality.

That’s the best fantasy world. What you can create for your future self. And if you have a big enough vision, you can create a new future that will affect the entire world.

Steve Jobs had a vision, turned it into Apple

Mark Zuckerberg had a vision, turned it into Facebook

Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, J.K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkien, George Washington, Walt Disney, the list goes on and on and on.

And it’s not over, more visionaries are changing the world every day.

And you can too.

You can change the way the world works.

One person can have a massive impact.

Your fantasy can become a reality.

What is your fantasy? What is your big dream? What do you want to change about the world?

Once you can answer these 3 questions, you can start making a plan to bring them into reality.

So, what’s the catch?

The catch is, it takes work.

The prerequisite for success is that work needs to be done.

If you have a massive dream that you feel is unreachable, remember that the visionaries of our time thought that too. They likely thought that the task was so large that it scared them. Do you want to know a secret? It should scare you, but once you begin working on it, you’ll conquer it, one step at a time.

The funny thing about fantasy worlds is the amount of symbolism in them. One common theme is fighting the dragon. In your life, you’ll encounter several dragons. Dragons are scary, but once you realize that you can defeat the dragon it’ll be necessary to do so.

So go out there, defeat the dragons in your life, think of the fantasy that you want to become real, and conquer it. Crush your goals, take small steps, and eventually, you can get there.

It might start with writing a page for a new book, getting a client for a new business, taking that next step for your project, and identifying where the dragon is so you can get the gold that it’s protecting.

Once you realize that your fantasy is the best one out there, you’ll want others to realize that too, and you’ll do whatever is necessary to make it a reality.

So go out there and change the world.
