Grow During A Lockdown.

How You Can Succeed While Staying In.

If you're not making progress in one facet of your life while you're locked up.. then you're failing yourself. There's plenty of people out there who complain that they don't have the time to do this or that, because they're too busy working or going to school and they're tired once they finally get finished with everything. That's understandable.

What's not understandable is that we now have a massive amount of free time, isolated from the world and we decide to do what with the time? We have the time we've complained for so long about.. and yet we feel it's more justifiable to sit on the couch binge watching seasons of shows on Hulu or Netflix as if it's going to change our lives. I've been through a ton of days just like that, feeling that I'm doing okay with my life that I deserve to relax.. for days, weeks straight where I stuff my face with food and binge any new show out there, only to go look in the mirror and ask myself why I looked the way I did, or why I feel the negativity the way I do.

That time is over, it's time to stop making excuses and start building a future for yourself. As you can see, jobs are being lost left and right, giving you all the proof you need that no job is safe. Whether you're still working through this pandemic or not, your job is not safe if you don't have a business of your own to build side-income or a healthy sized savings for emergency events like 2020 has become. I personally believe in having more than one revenue stream, especially for times like these that we're living in. Take up a new hobby, start recording your hobbies, or your funny moments, or educational speeches. Try building a website for selling things you love, or creating a community based page for people to come to and connect on specific topics.. hell even make yourself a TikTok account. It's the next big thing, clashing head to head with instagram on who can gather the most views and user interaction time on their apps. TikTok can make your famous for all the RIGHT reasons, because its short clips of hilarious, talented, and even educational content from you, yourself, and yaself that goes out to Millions of people who will view it, like it, share it, and follow you for more future content. It's an extremely fast growing and insanely easy platform to use to build a big following in a short amount of time, and what better time to do so when you have... that's right... nothing else to do, like the rest of the people on the app. Action is louder than words. Keep making the excuses and soon you'll be too old to act on those words that you've been saying for so long.. and regret will set in.

Your time of quarantine is limited, but when you're sitting there watching "The Office" for the 18th straight time, or checking up on your favorite celebrities to see just why they're going insane in their mansions on this lockdown.. don't blame it on others or on any event or object that does not affect your ability to try to build your life. This is free time given to you by a Massively catastrophic pandemic. See the light in the opportunity to be at home away from time-consuming places or things and start learning a new skill. You'll only regret wasting your time and not trying if you decide to be lazy and use your time unwisely. I want the best for all you guys and girls out there. The future is now, make it what you want it to be.
