When Nicole Tabs and Andrea d’Agostini first got into business together, it was pretty obvious why they made a good team.

Today they have built Serendipity Group, a film production company with its next show airing on ABC Jan 2022, a 7 figures business development agency, a groundbreaking marketing platform and partnerships all over the world, but how did it start?

In 2019, Andrea entered as a 50% partner of Monarchy Media, an influencer marketing company that later bloomed into a full-service business development agency .

At the time, it was a match made in business heaven: Tabs was an influencer and had creative connections in every industry from production to marketing, and d’Agostini was connected to brands all over the world thanks to his entrepreneurial and marketing history and his year-old venture, SalesJet.

And, somewhere amidst all the hustle that comes with running two successful business ventures and starting others, Tabs and d’Agostini fell in love.

Their 2020 marriage wasn’t just a marriage of two people, but a marriage of all their creative and marketing skills, which they combined to begin building an empire. Some people might say they’re a power couple, Tabs said, but she prefers to think of it as the ideal partnership in every capacity.

“She is a force of nature,” d’Agostini added. “She is a renewable, unlimited energy source.”

Growing Together and Separate

Tabs and d’Agostini both consider themselves to be artists, as well as entrepreneurs. It’s that shared skill of artistry that has propelled them to success, both as partners and as individuals.

In d’Agostini, that artistic talent manifested itself through marketing. He founded a creative production company that transformed brand campaigns into beautiful pieces of media. He ran Sephora’s marketing campaigns from 2011 to 2013, and worked with brands like LaCoste and Pandora.

In 2013, he decided it was time for a new adventure and moved from Italy to the United States. In 2014 he accepted the role of Vice President PR & Marketing for American Power & Gas, a young energy company that grew to become one of the fastest growing businesses in the US. and, two years later, decided to start traveling and speaking to support entrepreneurship and share his knowledge.

“I was paying for everything and speaking for free because I wanted to give back to entrepreneurs,” d’Agostini said. “That’s how I started building up my personal brand.”

Personal branding is something Tabs knows intimately. She developed her own branding on social media, her film production company with her mother, Rosanna Grace, and eventually founded Monarchy Media in 2018, where she was able to help others with their branding.

“We started off by facilitating the relationship between brands and influencers,” she said. “Then we realized we could expand out to social media, sales, training and before we knew it, we became a full-fledged business development agency.”

In many ways, Tabs added, it was a match made in heaven.

“(d’Agostini) does the marketing and entrepreneur side, and I work on the creative and production sides,” she said. “It really works.”

Entrepreneurship and Giving Back

Now that both d’Agostini and Tabs have made their mark as entrepreneurs and creatives, they want to give back to those just starting out. And, because of their shared wealth of knowledge and experience, that is easier than ever.

Tabs said she loves being able to keep the entrepreneurial spirit in the family. Her father is also a serial entrepreneur, and often bonded over the struggles and triumph of that path.

“You can leverage almost anything when building a brand,” Tabs said. “I’ve used my skills in film production and my influencer connections to build brands, and worked with people I know to meet even more people to help me on the way. It all works together, and that’s a skill I want to teach other entrepreneurs.”

For d’Agostini, the delight of giving back has manifested through SalesJet, the marketing company he founded in 2018. SalesJet’s products were built because he saw needs in the marketing industry that no one was meeting. That, to him, was a sign to step in.

“I wanted a lot of things,” he said. “A complete platform for funnels and automation, the ability to build online courses, and so on. When I couldn’t find any product or service that could do that to my level of satisfaction, I thought, ‘Well, now is my chance to give back to other people while also making something anyone can use’.”

SalesJet’s 360 Degree marketing platform offers its users a complete portfolio of marketing and sales tools, ranging from sales funnels to automatic client messaging. Founders Andrea d’Agostini and Nicole Tabs have worked with over 900 businesses and counting. For more information, and to start using the platform, visit https://salesjet.io
