everyone hurts
Lily's youthful naivety is shattered when those she thought were trustworthy turn their backs on her, revealing harsh truths about the world around her.

Years ago in Texas, there was a girl named Lily who had a heart of gold. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and would do anything for them. She held an unwavering affection for the ones closest to her heart-her loving family, a devoted boyfriend she admired profoundly for being the one, and a trusted best friend who knew absolutely everything about her-unpretentious demeanor naturally drew people towards her. However, one day, her world came crashing down when she discovered that her loved ones had betrayed her in the most brutal way possible.
Lily's best friend, who she had known since childhood, had spread rumors about her behind her back that she made a burn book in which she wrote all the bad things about her classmates and teachers which got her expelled from her school in which she was an A+ student. Her boyfriend, who she thought was the love of her life, had cheated on her with her own sister and had been cheating for a year and her sister was expecting a child now. Her parents, who she had always trusted, had lied to her about her inheritance and had given it all away to her covetous cousins who were planning on backstabbing them anyway. All the people that cherished her presence started looking down on her glancing at her as if she was a monster whenever she passed by.
This affected Lily badly she couldn’t sleep or eat anything. She became numb she wondered is her life was worth living? if she was worth anything? She wondered if anyone or anything cared about her well-being. She felt like her whole world had crumbled beneath her feet. She couldn't believe that the people she loved and trusted the most had betrayed her so brutally. She felt alone and lost, with no one to turn to. It seemed as if what held her strong was what made her fall and lose faith in this world. She was in shambles because how can someone who means so much to you hurt you in a way not even enemies hurt you. But Lily's heart still shone though it was dim at first but slowly she caught pace. There is no denying that she faced multiple betrayals - her parents disowned her, boyfriend cheated on her, and best friend snitched.
Despite this, she aimed for personal growth and to avoid any future losses. Hence she took it to her heart to build something that defines her, that doesn't need a family or love to stay put, to create her own worth and hence she built the biggest business her country had ever seen; The building so big that it could fit the entire Texas in it, people here and there telling her about her schedule and meetings. She was living everyone's dream and she was happy. Although her joy was hard-earned, she had put in extensive labor and effort to achieve it, numbing the pain and making it her solace and strength as she used it to inspire herself and a select few others.
In the end, Lily realized that sometimes, the people we love the most can hurt us the most. The ropes that hold you may also be the ones that break you, the pillars that provide you support may also be the one that crush you But it's up to us to decide whether we let their betrayal take over us or take over them and Lily, she chose to be stronger and she learnt that it depends on you whether something is going to break you or make you.
