He likes football since childhood, but when he was 10 years old, an incident, that gave him a big blow. He was training with Newell's Old Boys.

One afternoon, his team was playing a football match against another team of his age. Several times, teammates passed the ball to him, but he was so nervous that he closed his eyes as he faced the goal, and the result was that the ball kept going past the goal. Because of his many missed chances, his team was defeated in the end. At the end of the play, he closed his eyes in pain.

In the dressing room, many of his mates put their fingers to their mouths and jeered at him. His shoes were also taken away by one of his companions, who spit on them and proudly showed them off to other friends, giving him the nickname "King of Smelly shoes". He was so miserable that he thought maybe he wasn't cut out for football at all and just gave up.

With his head bowed and distracted, he could not help crying as he walked home alone.

When he saw a frog looking curiously at his tearful eyes, he got angry and urinated on the frog as a prank.

But he found that during this process, the humiliated frog remained in one position, still bulging his round eyes at him, and did not dodge or run away.

Confused and upset, he went home and told his father everything that had happened today.

His father told him that if one wanted to think, he should face injustice and accept defeat like the high-spirited frog.

That night, his soul was shocked, and his inner dream began to revive, and he thought that the humiliated and unyielding frog was his best teacher.

He secretly vowed: I also want to work hard in adversity, into the best team, become a great player like Maradona, ascend to the pinnacle of football, and become the world player of the year!

From that day on, he played football for more than eight hours a day and kept studying and training methodically. Coach's criticism, teammates' criticism, he can calmly face, confidently raised his head, step by step on their way, his eyes only one goal: goal.

A year later, he encountered another obstacle. At the age of 11, he was diagnosed with a developmental hormone deficiency that prevented his bones from growing. His family could not afford to pay for his treatment, but he was attracted by Barcelona scouts because of his optimism, positive attitude, and improved skills.

In September 2000, at the age of 13 and only 140 centimeters tall, he was invited to Barcelona for a trial. In the trial field, he stared at the target like a persistent frog and hit three in a row.

As soon as the trial was over, the head of the club did not hesitate to register him with the club and arrange for him to receive treatment in the best hospital. He scored 31 goals in 38 youth games that year.

The World Youth Championships have always been regarded as a showcase for talent. When THE 15TH WORLD YOUTH GAMES CURTAIN IN THE Netherlands Utrecht SLOWLY DOWN, HE, A height OF only 1.69 meters Argentine teenager WILL be a giant back left to the world.

It was his performance that saved Argentina from being expected to go any further after their disastrous performance on the group stage. As the heart and soul of the Argentina team, he took center stage at the World Youth Championships from the knockout stage onwards, eventually leading the Argentina Under-21 team to the World Youth Championship and winning the World Youth Player of the tournament himself.

At the end OF 2005, he has voted THE BEST European ROOKIE OF the YEAR BY Italian sports newspaper TOTAL SPORT, beating ROONEY by AN overwhelming margin IN THE "Golden Boy Award".

His name is Leo Messi, the Barcelona forward and Argentina international, affectionately known to his fans as "the new Maradona", who has fulfilled his vow with near-perfect skills.

On December 1, 2009, Messi won the 2009 European Ballon d 'Or award after leading Barcelona to a treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Champions League titles in the 2008-2009 season.

Twenty days later, at the 19th FIFA Awards ceremony in Zurich, Leo Messi had the last laugh, winning the 2009 World Player of the Year award. Holding the golden trophy, he said with a smile: "Don't play with your eyes closed, keep your eyes on your goal. As long as you work hard, your dream is not far away."

Let's remember Messi's mentor, the frog whose head bulged out after being hit by urine.

Focus, fight all the strength, unremitting efforts toward the goal, perseverance, do not care about others' blows and ridicule, as long as they have a goal, have a very positive attitude, do not give up, willing to work hard, will eventually get out of the dilemma. The world will accept you and your dreams will come true.
