The magnitude of the struggle for people to manage the COVID-19 pandemic is enormous! Is it rocking your world right now? What are things that are going through your mind right now? A rocky foundation challenges us to think about who we are and what we believe. So where do we go and what do we do?

Instead of having anxiety, worry, or stress.... why not try these five different ideas to bring peace, love, harmony, and joy into your life during the struggle. Please read to the end of this article to find out ways to significantly improve yourself and your situation by taking a few simple steps.

Combat this Crazy World with Stillness!

When the going gets tough, the tough get still. Sounds crazy, huh! Sometimes there is so much noise, people demanding your attention, and life crises that people get overwhelmed and have trouble coping. Sometimes they can't even see that they are overwhelmed.

The way to balance out COVID fatigue is to be still. Make it a part of your morning routine to find a quiet place to shut out the world and focus on the positive things in your life. This COVID situation is temporary. Like other illnesses that have come and gone in this world, this, too, shall pass. Choosing to make silence a priority in your daily routine will give you an opportunity for reflection and help you to center yourself. Silence helps to provide balance in a broken world that is turning people's lives upside-down.

Meditate Instead of Being Agitated!

While being still, turn on your favorite soothing music and meditate. How do you meditate? Close your eyes and listen to the sounds of the music playing in the background. In our mind, picture yourself at your favorite place. That picture could be of you at the beach, hanging with your spouse, or playing your favorite video game. Allow those images to wash over you for a few minutes. Let it sink into your heart and soul until the noises of the outside world disappear, and it brings you peace. Stay in touch with that moment as long as you want. The longer you stay in the moment, the more joy it will bring you! Meditation is free and will reduce stress, which helps your health.

Find Crazy Fun Activities!

How many times have you had to sit and wait in an airport, in a meeting, or a classroom where you were utterly bored? When was the last time you laughed or gave someone a kiss or hug? Have you ever wished for those days again in this pandemic? Instead, why not combat the craziness and the ideas of boredom with crazy fun activities. Sharing your lives with other people makes all the difference in the world to your happiness and joy!

Some wild and fun ideas could include jet skis, speed boats, or mountain biking. Your favorite card games with a twist or outdoor sports are sure to put a smile on your face. Playing bingo or having water balloon competitions is always a splashing good time!

Other ideas might be to pick a topic out of a jar and then discuss it with a group of friends. The person with the most exciting feedback would receive a gift. Why not host a themed party and dance at your home? A themed party is a great idea for adults and kids! Don't forget to limbo!

Passion and Inspiration!

At some point in our lives, we have heard someone speak in a public setting that sparked a passion inside of us or inspired us to grow or do something good in this world. Maybe you were motivated to paint or speak at a conference. You may have felt led to help pregnant teens, feed the poor, or serving in your local community is what motivates you. I encourage you to get in touch with your passions. The things that you are passionate about will not seem like hard labor. You will enjoy doing them, and they will bring you and others joy!

Inspiration can come through many different mediums such as artwork, music, motivational speakers, or the movies. To find your pandemic-proof inspiration, be pro-active about indulging yourself in a hobby that speaks to you. If you can't think of one, check out what's going on in your local community. The internet has a vast array of opportunities to inspire your giftedness through local non-profit organizations seeking to offer hope and help to people. Let your creative side shine!

Amazing and Awesome!

The best way to be an overcomer of this pandemic is to take care of yourself to treat others well. If people are stressed out, overwhelmed, and divided, that is the negativity that other people will receive. If we choose to balance our lives by centering ourselves on a solid foundation, people can offer assistance, joy, and love to others. It would be great if we could all take care of each other well. If we do this, we will all live in harmony and enjoy much happier lives. It's what we should do as people. Everyone in this world needs someone to care about them and support them in different ways. Choose to be an overcomer and make a difference in someone else's life. It is more fulfilling than any other work you could do!
