Be The Change That You Wish To See In The World

I think pushing yourself physically is the number one factor in life. That is the true point at which you can delve deeply into life. Life's about self-discipline. We tend to do the things that are easy, and that is why they build no mental toughness. When you work out without mental toughening, you get nothing.

Working out is where you can build that the fastest because it's a constant and it gives you instant feedback in saying you may not lose the weight you want to really fast, but the discipline it takes it transfers over to all aspects of your life. It's not people, man. Why are you always working out? Stop looking at it that way. When you look in the mirror every morning, we all look in the mirror to get ready to go to work or go anywhere.

Your reflection is the first thing you notice. If you don't like what you see in the morning, you have already lost the war. There are all kinds of different ways to break it.

You can break physically, you can break mentally, you can break your heart, you can break your spirit, and none of those is fun, and all of those are going to leave a mark, but the mark that they leave can be the mark of victory or it can be the mark of defeat, because every time you break and in every way that you break, while it's a chance, it's definitely a chance for you to give up and for you to just fall apart, there's also an opportunity to get stronger, get smarter, and get faster, and get better.

We live in a world where we want to be as comfortable as we can be. We are perplexed as to why there is no progress. We wonder why, when the smallest thing in our life gets difficult, we wonder why we cower and we run away.

I mean, our whole lives are set up that way. Our entire life is designed to take the path of least resistance. We don't want to suffer. We don't want to feel discomfort, so the whole time we're living our lives in a very comfortable area. So for me, there's no growth in that, so for me, I realised that the reason I became 297 pounds was because that was comfortable.

I was very uncomfortable trying to face things that I didn't want to face. So what I want you to do is think about something you want for yourself that's real. That's important for you because it will give your life new meaning and power, and I don't want you to say you can do it. I don't want you to assume that. I don't want you to start freaking out.

I want you to be able to say something to yourself that will allow you to be honest with yourself. So, when you say this, it will serve as a benchmark to keep you in the game, to keep you moving forward and experimenting and readjusting your strategy and plan of action in order to win, but what is that something? When you get an idea, you want to move on. You might not have the money.

You mightn't have the education. You might not have the support and the resources you need. What will keep us going and allow us to pursue our dream? What is one of the keys to unlocking the mysteries of our dreams? It's possible if you say that to yourself every day. It's possible if you say that every day to yourself.
