Human beings are a bundle of emotions. Emotions define us and they alone have made us the most refined and the best of creation. Well it's totally fine when you are in your best version and in high spirits but do not feel alone when you are feeling low all of a sudden. It's pretty mundane. If you are struggling to find what to do when you find yourself overwhelmed, don't worry I got you covered.

Here are 4 basic yet overly underestimated tips to follow when you are feeling low :

Call someone

The best way to handle stress is by being around people you love . Be it your family or a friend , studies have shown that spending time with people who care about you is really helpful while feeling low. Call your friend and blurt it all out or if you want to take it top notch , talk with your mother and the amount of negative energy you will release will leave you surprised.

Enjoy accomplishments

Stop being so hard on yourself . Life can get a little bit clumsy sometimes . What matters is that we do not lose ourselves in that process. Be grateful for what you have and focus on what you have accomplished. What you possess someone else might consider a luxury and the lifestyle that you are enjoying is still a dream for millions of people.Still feeling ungrateful?

Workout

When feeling low , get moving , just keep your heart pumping , give your body a nice rush of blood. You don't have to go to the and do deadlifts and bench presses necessarily. Go for a walk. Go jogging . Do jumping jacks. Do exercises that you love doing . As you focus on getting your body to do the work you will actually feel good and this fact is backed by many studies too.

What I personally do is when I feel stressed or overwhelmed I call up my friends to go cycling. We go cycling on the highways and then go somewhere quiet . As people say"nature is the healer" , I couldn't agree more. The cold wind will heal you and give a soothing chill throughout your body. Try it out sometimes.

When I can't go cycling, I workout by myself and use that stress as fuel. You will be surprised that I end up doing more sets than usual. Getting that pump in the muscle is an out of the word feeling.

Treat Yourself

When I say treat yourself dont go about munching junk foods to your heart's content. That's called stressed eating. You will put up more weight and feel awful afterwards and end up blaming me. LOL. Make yourself a healthy meal , if you can't ask your mom to make that chicken curry you have been craving to have. Watch your favourite movie with your friends, you will find yourself enjoying it even more. Read an inspirational book or any of your preferences. Play with a child and learn their happiness mantra. There are enough options available to relax , go and find something that suits you!

So , these were some of the points that you can keep in mind while feeling low. There are a ton of things that you can do but these can be done easily by anyone with ease. If you are suffering from serious trauma feel free to seek professional help there is no shame in that. The next you are feeling low make sure to keep these things in mind .
