I love you in numbers. That's what he said to her every day, for as long as she could remember. At first, she didn't understand what he meant, but as time went on, she began to realize that he was expressing his love for her in his own unique way.

They had been together for five years now, and their love for each other had only grown stronger over time. They were the perfect match, complementing each other in every way possible. She was the creative one, always coming up with new ideas and projects to work on. He was the logical one, using his analytical mind to help her turn those ideas into reality.

One day, as they were sitting in their favorite café, sipping on their coffee, he pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. He began to write down a series of numbers, pausing every so often to look up at her.

"What are you doing?" she asked him.

"I'm writing down all the reasons why I love you," he replied, a smile spreading across his face.

She couldn't help but laugh at his cheesy gesture. "You don't need to write them down," she said. "I already know you love me."

"I know you do," he said. "But sometimes, it's nice to see it all written out. Plus, I want to make sure I don't forget anything."

She watched as he continued to write, occasionally stealing a glance at his list. The numbers didn't make any sense to her, but she could tell that each one was important to him.

As he finished writing, he handed her the piece of paper. She took it from him, studying the list with a curious expression on her face.

"Number one," she read out loud. "You make me laugh every day."

"Number two," she continued. "You inspire me to be a better person."

"Number three," she read, her voice growing softer. "You support me, no matter what."

The list went on and on, each number representing a different aspect of their relationship. As she read through them, she felt a warmth spreading through her chest. It was comforting to know that he loved her so much, and that he had taken the time to put it all down on paper.

"You're amazing," she said, looking up at him.

He grinned, taking her hand in his. "Not as amazing as you," he replied. "I love you in numbers, remember?"

She smiled, leaning in to kiss him. They sat there for a while, lost in their own little world, until the café closed and they were forced to leave.

As they walked home, he slipped his arm around her waist, pulling her close. "I have one more number to add to the list," he said.

"What's that?" she asked, turning to look at him.

"Number infinity," he replied. "Because my love for you will never end."

Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at him, feeling overwhelmed by the depth of his love for her. She knew that he meant every word he said, and that he would always be there for her, no matter what.

Over the years, they continued to add to their list of numbers, each one representing a different milestone in their relationship. They celebrated anniversaries and birthdays, and even the little things, like the first time he cooked her dinner, or the time she surprised him with tickets to his favorite band.

Through it all, he never stopped telling her that he loved her in numbers. It became their little inside joke, something that only they understood.

One day, as they were sitting on the couch, watching TV, he turned to her and said, "I have a confession to make."

"What's that?" she asked, turning to look at him.

"I've been keeping a secret from you," he said, looking nervous.

"A secret?" she repeated, feeling a sense of unease creeping over her.

He took a deep breath and reached into his pocket, pulling out a small velvet box. He handed it to her, his hands shaking slightly.

She opened the box, feeling her breath catch in her throat as she saw the diamond ring nestled inside. "What is this?" she asked, her heart racing.

"It's a ring," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

Tears streamed down her face as she looked at him, feeling overwhelmed by the enormity of his love for her. She didn't need any numbers to know how much he cared for her. She could feel it in every touch, every word, every moment they spent together.

"Yes," she said, her voice trembling. "I will."

He slipped the ring onto her finger, kissing her deeply as they both smiled through their tears. They had always known that they were meant to be together, but now it was official. They were going to spend the rest of their lives loving each other in numbers, one day at a time.

As they planned their wedding, they continued to add to their list of numbers, each one representing a different step in their journey. They counted down the days until they could say their vows, and then they counted down the days until they could start their lives together as husband and wife.

Through it all, they never forgot the little moments that had brought them to this point. The way he had looked at her the first time they met, the way she had laughed at his silly jokes, the way they had held each other through the hard times.

Years went by, and their love only grew stronger. They faced challenges and hardships, but they always came out on the other side, stronger than ever before. They celebrated anniversaries and birthdays, and even the little things, like the first time they brought their daughter home from the hospital.

And through it all, he never stopped telling her that he loved her in numbers. It was a reminder of all the reasons why he had fallen in love with her, and all the reasons why he would always be there for her.

As they grew old together, their list of numbers grew longer, until it filled books and albums and boxes. But no matter how many numbers there were, there was one that always stood out above the rest.

"I love you in numbers," he said to her, as they sat on their front porch, watching the sunset. "And I always will."

"I love you too," she replied, leaning her head on his shoulder. "In infinity and beyond."

They sat there, holding hands, as the sun sank below the horizon, feeling the warmth of their love surrounding them. And in that moment, they knew that they would always be together, loving each other in numbers, until the end of time.
