A bad relationship is like standing on broken glass, if you stay you will keep hurting. If you walk away, you will hurt but eventually, you will heal." Autumn Kohle

There will be plenty of average things in your life. One of them should not be love. Life is too short to not live it to the fullest, and a relationship is supposed to bring out the best in you. Sleeping with someone who doesn't care about you is a waste of time because you only have one life to live. Have as much fun as you can because life is too short. Let go of all your worries and enjoy the best day of your life.

Countless people are trapped in unhappy marriages, unhealthy dating relationships, and toxic friendships. Life is far too short to actively choose to remain in unhealthy relationships. Although we do not have the luxury of choosing our families, we do have the opportunity to choose our friends and romantic partners. With that privilege comes the ability to decide when these relationships are no longer beneficial to us. Relationships should be enjoyable to be in, especially ones that we choose. While all relationships have difficult times, they should not last for years. They should not be one-sided, and they should not cause emotional distress. Relationships are about making life a little bit easier, better, and more enjoyable for everyone involved, something is wrong when a relationship does not provide these comforts. If a relationship is making you feel bad, questioning your worth, and leaving you insecure, lonely, or unappreciated, it's time to end it.

Making a change necessitates an honest relationship inventory. Determine what is wrong, have an open conversation with the other person, and then devise a plan to fix it. If the other person is unwilling to change and remaining will result in more unhappiness and possibly pain, then leave. Remember that just because you chose someone to be in your life does not mean that decision is a life sentence. Even in marriage, sacrificing your life and well-being does not make sense if your partner no longer treats you well, causes you pain, and refuses to change. Life is far too brief. Respect yourself and let go of relationships that are causing you harm. Do not inflict harm on others. Make every effort to change the relationship, and if nothing changes, MOVE ON. Toxic relationships stunt your growth and prevent you from reaching your full potential. It can be difficult and frightening to break free from one, especially if it has been a part of your life for a long time.

No matter how short or long a toxic relationship lasts, know that you can leave it at any time. If you're unhappy in your relationship, you must leave as well. I assure you that it will not be the end of the world. True love should not make you feel the way you do now. Don't be afraid to be alone. Accept it. Don't worry about never finding love again. You never know who will enter your life at the most unexpected times. If you want to attract the right type of person, you must first change. If you've been debating whether or not to go, now is the time. It does not have to last indefinitely. If you want, you can take a break. Don't stay if you're afraid you won't be able to find someone else.

Thinking about whether or not someone else is better for you is reason enough to go. You will eventually arrive at your destination, one way or another. Whether it's with someone new or returning to the arms of the person you left.
