Our signature bakery menu includes breads, pastries, and cakes with breading ranging from our favorite breads such as our own rye or golden raisin to the traditional, delicious baguettes and brioche wraps. Our bakery coffee and espresso is freshly roasted daily to order, making us the first to utilize micro-roasting to help us source the finest beans and roast the perfect cup of coffee with every batch of baked goodies we serve.

We have been featured in countless magazines and newspapers in the greater Chicago area, and are well known throughout the nation with our customers, our business and our talented employees. We are proud to offer the most delicious and best value cakes and pastries available at the mall and at our doorstep. We are also pleased to introduce the original, fresh and savory signature French Toast, served with fresh berries and maple syrup.

It was a quick journey from the bustling suburbs of New York City into the small country town of Soham, Illinois. It was here were introduced to the art of dough baking. As one of the first small bakeries in the world, Soham was the first place in the US to experiment with artisan pastry and the only place in the world to make breads and pastries from scratch. Our unique doughs and bakery culture is what has made Soham a destination for so many. We are passionate about baking, and the world would be a better place if we could do more.

We have been baking since 1984 under the leadership (and supervision)of Tim and Sharon Klein. Now an established family business we pride ourselves on providing excellent food quality at reasonable prices without compromising quality or flavor. The team consists also largely comprised entirely one woman, Sharon. Her love not only for ingredients but also our customers shines through her work ethic, enthusiasm and drive that she provides here everyday. Over the years we have had many wonderful comments about the creative combinations you can create using seasonal fruits and veggies including strawberries, tomatoes & artichokes. You will never find better tasting dough anyplace!

We are dedicated to excellence, and create unique and deluxe creations that have remained true to our philosophy of wholesomeness and local farmers markets. We are a bakery-café that is a true local-sourcing enterprise. We know that the quality of our ingredients and the care that goes into our baking are the greatest gifts we can give to our community. Our bakery specializes in uniquely delicious offerings for special occasions, including the Oven-Baked Banana, a delicious mix of banana, chocolate chip, almond and pistachio cheesecake and our signature chocolate-crusted banana cake. We also provide bakery supplies and catering services, including rolling hot cookies and cinnamon rolls. We offer a great selection of artisanal, fresh and locally-sourced ingredients and baked goods and we are a family-owned local business.

We offer a full menu of freshly prepared, hand-crafted delights from a menu of over 300 items including our signature Hot Cheesefisk, including a chocolate and vanilla cheesecake, blackened cucumber salad, and a classic white chocolate puff pie.Our name is a nod to our owner, Dave, and a nod to the fact that we are very much a family-owned bakery. In the heart of beautiful Albany, we are located at 514 East Washington Street, right in the heart of the historic downtown area. We have been serving customers since 1988. We offer great breads, pastries and cakes, from a selection of French, Italian and American bakeries, including our signature Breadbabies, from which we get our breads and pastries.

We also make thoughtful, hand-crafted artisanal desserts, including pastries, cake mixes, cookies and cookies! Our bakery is a small, family-run operation, with close-knit friends and family. Our family consists of our son, James, and our daughter, Shauna, who also works there. Our kitchen is always under renovation, so there are lots of surprises on the horizon.

We are known for our fresh, hand-crafted and signature flavors that our team includes award-winning baker’s creations, rich doughs, impeccable French pastry techniques, and our signature lemon-flavored vanilla ice cream. Our restaurant is located downtown Atlanta at the corner of Peachtree Road and Randolph Road North. Our front entrance is in the small business plaza in front of the Georgia Statehouse, which is the Capitol Building. The back entrance is off of Randolph Road.

The bakery is also a destination for many of the region’s most prestigious events and events. With the aim of bringing joy to all of our clients, our team is constantly evaluating our menu to ensure we delight both the palate and the eyes. With the bakery’s motto “You can always have something delicious,” we are committed to providing you with exceptional and delicious goods.

We also offer the most popular desserts ever designed from scratch. Our passion for our food and desserts has given us the opportunity to serve the best of the best.
