How I will reset my life?

Approximately two months ago, I documented these reflections in my notes, a practice I sporadically undertake to compose letters to myself for self-reflection during challenging times. I discovered myself unable to extract joy from life as effortlessly as before. Reflecting on a time when I used to engage in lengthy walks while engrossed in reading or listening to various educational materials, my mind brimming with ideas, I recognized this period as a hazy six-month Flow State where I developed three products, garnered millions of readers, and authored a book. Contemplating those days, I pondered the possibility of replicating such success if presented with the opportunity again. However, the unequivocal answer was no.

During that productive phase, my daily routine involved waking up, venturing down to the lake for a contemplative walk, sitting beside a pond immersed in reading and incessantly highlighting a book, returning home, refreshing with a shower, strolling to a local coffee shop, and dedicating two hours each morning to writing. These two hours essentially shaped the entirety of my current lifestyle. I engaged in experimentation with different diets and activities, driven by the allure of novelty and the accompanying dopamine rush. The persistent nagging of this internal struggle prompted me to believe that there was a way to recapture that elevated state of mind, if not the exact lifestyle, at least the mindset and the joy it once brought me.

Recognizing my inclination to address challenges proactively before seeking solutions, I aspired to share this journey in the hope that it might assist others confronting similar dilemmas. For those who have experienced cyclical low periods, where an initial sense of euphoria gives way to stagnation and eventually hits a figurative wall, this exposition is dedicated to you. Its objective is to aid those grappling with rediscovering the enthusiasm for life and finding joy in seemingly ordinary activities.

Before delving into the practical elements, I elaborate on the analogy of the mind as a supercomputer orchestrating the game of life. I underscore the significance of RAM (random access memory) in a computer, drawing parallels with the human capacity for focus. While the unconscious mind can process copious amounts of information, the conscious attention span is constrained to a range of 10 to 50 bits per second. The discussion navigates through the tumultuous consequences of a divided attention, split between past and future, hindering the focus on the system that brings our visions to fruition.

Transitioning to the idea of winning the game of life, I propose envisioning the mind as a digestive system for reality. The optimal state of enjoyment is found at the edge, where neither boredom nor anxiety prevails. This exposition underscores the importance of creating, expanding, and transcending experiences to craft a fulfilling life.

Moving on to the creation of personal games, I emphasize the significance of setting goals for clarity rather than fixating on achieving them. The narrative highlights the educational value of mistakes and the imperative to commence the journey from one's current position, progressing incrementally.

The exposition subsequently outlines a practical seven-day plan designed to reset one's life. This plan involves an introspective analysis of current emotions, clarifying aspirations through a minimum viable vision, prioritizing, eliminating unnecessary elements, and restructuring daily activities. Adopting cornerstone habits of learning and building, coupled with the creation of a weekly plan for continual refinement, forms the core of this transformative process.

In conclusion, this extensive discourse underscores the iterative nature of the transformational journey, guiding individuals toward constructing efficient systems that pave the way for a gratifying life.

If you have made it to the end, I really appreciate for your time. Thank you.
