Make $40 a day as a Healthy Person

The Safe Way

Now I know what you may be thinking. What do you mean by healthy, and not only that... what do I have to do?

The term healthy here is slightly subjective in nature, because everyone has something going on with them and no one is perfect. However, you can pass a qualification screening if you don't take certain medications (or substances) and you don't have failing organs. So there, that's the baseline of qualifying as a healthy individual to donate plasma, but it doesn't stop there. If you don't have any open cuts on your body, haven't received any new piercings or tattoos, became pregnant, or visited any foreign countries, you're not at risk to recipients who may need your plasma for medical therapy. That's right, I said plasma. Not blood, though it is similar to giving blood, except that you recover quicker and can donate more frequently. Plasma is the clear part of your blood that contains mostly water, and other important components

So how do you get to the level that you can receive up to $300 a month by doing this?

Basically by adhering to what was just mentioned, and passing a daily health screening that shows your body is currently at the level safe to undergo the procedure. At CSL Plasma, your temperature has to be at least 97.0 but under 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Your protein has to be at least a level 6, and your iron and red blood cell count has to be at least 38%. Blood pressure lower than 150/100 mm/Hg.

Once you pass this screening, the last thing you have to overcome is the needle. Once that's inside you all you have to do is pump your hand until the bottle fills, which could take up to 45 minutes. It's a process but once you get past the initial physical, it's a breezy routine when you go in.

The perk is that new donors receive the biggest payout, initially at $60, and then $75 the first four times you go donate. After that, it drops according to your weight bracket:

175lbs plus- $40 the first day and $45 the second

174-150- $30 the first day and $35 the second

149-110- $25 the first day $27 the second

You must wait at least a day between donations, and can only give twice a week.

As a regular, if you go multiple-times a month, you get bonuses, like $40 extra on your 4th visit, and $40 extra on your 8th visit. You get the payment on a debit card, but it is prepaid and cannot be linked to Cashapp or Paypal.

This is just one company, but there are countless others in different states. The two main ones in New Jersey are CSL Plasma and B Positive Plasma. CSL is located in two places in Philadelphia as well. The facilities are operating under optimal social distancing protocols at this time, screening people before they enter the lobby, to give you peace of mind. And inside they've removed beds so that participants remain separated. So if you're up for it, why wait another minute when you can get in on this lucrative opportunity now?

Pitfalls- aside from the obvious barriers to entry, what else should you watch out for?

Answer: Making sure you're eating a meal before and after will keep you from feeling light-headed. And keeping in mind the foods that keep your protein and iron levels at peak state. As a female, I always get stuck with the low red blood cell count if I'm not careful. Not that it's at a generally unhealthy state, but that its not at their standard for donating. So I have to keep in mind to eat foods that contain iron, as in heme and nonheme foods. Heme meaning hemoglobin that comes from the red blood cells of an animal. Nonheme foods are iron-rich foods without hemoglobin that come from plans. Heme foods coming from animal products are easily absorbed by the body and commonly eaten nonheme foods are cereals and other carbs that are fortified with iron. One I know of off the top of my head is the Special K brand that has 100% of the daily needed intake.

Lastly, make sure you drink your electrolyte drink. It puts your body back in the physical state it was in before you gave your plasma away. At CSL, you opt out of this because the electrolytes come in a saline solution that gets put immediately back into your bloodstream once you hit the fill line.

Now that you're armed with the knowledge to earn, go out there and make some fearless burger bucks!
