Love Beyond Borders

Mia and Jacob were infatuated throughout high school. When they were matched up for a history assignment during their sophomore year, their love story started. Mia was the gregarious and boisterous girl who always sat at the front of the class, and Jacob was the bashful guy who sat in the back. They had different backgrounds, but they clicked right away and worked on their project for hours on end.

They developed a close and profound bond as they got to know one another better. They opened up to each other about everything, including their anxieties and insecurities as well as their hopes and desires. While Mia brought out the wild and adventurous part of Jacob that he had never knew existed, Jacob was Mia's rock and her source of strength.

Mia set out on her solitary journey, visiting far-off places and absorbing other cultures. With a heavy heart full of love and longing for the girl who had won his heart all those years ago, Jacob stayed behind.

As the months stretched into years, Mia and Jacob grew more distant. However, their love for one another remained constant even as they followed their individual paths and aspirations. Through phone calls and letters, they stayed in touch and shared their successes and setbacks.

And then one day, destiny got involved once more. Standing at the threshold of their former flat, Mia discovered that she had returned to their hometown. When Jacob opened the door and saw the girl he had never stopped loving, his eyes widened in shock.

Mia rushed herself into his arms without saying anything, tears of happiness running down her cheeks. Feeling her warmth and affection pour through him like a salve to his broken heart, Jacob embraced her securely. They realized then and there that they were meant to be together forever.
