The internet is full of great tools and resources for just about anyone. Over the years, I have collected many links to share with clients and friends.

Welcome to the second part of my series! Here are more of my favorite online resources for you to try.

  • Qzzr  -  Create, embed, and share your own quizzes to drive social engagement.
  • RelatedWords.org  -  Find words that are related to a specific word or phrase.
  • Reverse Dictionary  -  Search for words by their definition
  • Sharingbuttons.io  -  Create social media sharing buttons with no JavaScript.
  • SubToMe  -  Allow your readers to follow your blog via the RSS reader of their choice.
  • Thesaurus.com  -  Find synonyms for any word.
  • 3D Book Cover Creator  -  Free tool for making book mockups and 3D covers.
  • Blurb  -  Create, print, and sell professional-quality photo books, magazines, trade books, and ebooks.
  • Boook.Link  -  Universal Book Link creator that includes stores like Indiebound, Bookshop.org, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indigo, BAM, Kobo, Goodreads, etc. It also automatically converts the Amazon link to the reader's local Amazon store.
  • Books2Read  -  Universal Book Link creator for ebooks.
  • Canva - Create beautiful images and graphics in minutes.
  • Draft2Digital - A friendly digital publishing aggregator offering conversion and distribution services for authors. Books are distributed to many online stores and libraries, including Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple, Tolino, Vivlio, Amazon, Scribd, 24 Symbol, Kobo Plus, OverDrive, Bibliotheca, Baker & Taylor, and Hoopla.
  • PicMonkey - A photo editor and graphic designing tool.
  • Smartmockups - Free product mockup generator.
  • Stencil - Create visuals for your website and social media posts.
  • Stockio.com — Thousands of files for personal and commercial use.
  • CloudConvert — Online file conversion service.
  • Dropbox — Upload and transfer files to the cloud, and share them with anyone.
  • Google Drive — Store, share, and collaborate on files and folders from any mobile device, tablet, or computer. Your first 15 GB of storage are free with a Google account.
  • Sync.com — Secure and private cloud storage.

Today's Fun Links

  • The David Rumsey Map Collection - A treasure trove of rare historical maps, atlases, charts, and diagrams dating as far back as the 16th century. Over 120,000 digitized items are freely available to the public in high resolution!
  • Wayback Machine - See what your favorite website looked like in the past. Type the URL, choose a date, and that's it!
  • 2048 - Looking to flex your mental muscles? This is the game for you. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the tiles and merge them with the ones with the same number, until you reach the total of 2048. Warning: You may need a few tries!
  • MuscleWiki - I found this website while trying to change my exercise routine. Click on the part of your body that you would like to work on and MuscleWiki will display a series of exercises and movements that you can do at home. Videos are included.
  • Word of the Day - Increase your vocabulary with Merriam-Webster's tool!
  • Nice News - Tired of the negativity in social media? This website will make your day.
