Whenever we sit around some people we always try to grab some attention so we try to overlook ourselves which sometimes turns out to be in a bad way because we don't have any idea about the situation and person's mood. So to cover those things up, we try different things like we use flattering words, ask many questions at once, interrupt at every point, and many other things. This ends up with a bad impression. So to avoid all these clumsy tactics, there is a nice formula.

"BE MORE INTERESTED THAN BEING INTERESTING"BeBeBE

It says, while in a conversation, show interest to the people more than showing yourself or talking about yourself, this may show a reflection of self-obsession in yourself in front of others and the person will feel that there is no value of their words/opinion cause you don't let him/her to say. So be calm and give time to others too. This will make them feel better and a healthy conversation can build there. What I mean by healthy conversation is productive talk in which there is sharing of ideas, different point of views which makes your brain-wide and might change your point of view in a good manner, you might influence someone with your ideas as well, so there is always a positive impact of these things.

Even if you are meeting a friend or any casual people, keep one thing in mind every time that "the first impression is the last impression", you don't know when or where and in what condition you'll see someone ( i am not only talking of seeing opposite genders but in general of having a good image of yours in front of any person), To make things go right, there are some basic etiquettes to follow that you know but refuses to do so sometimes, like:-

You must have a good breath, this thing really pisses off people.

  • The hairstyle should be maintained.
  • Whatever your outfit is, just make sure you look fine in it.
  • Doing things in a behaved way.
  • Having a good Body smell isn't that important but if you have it it's a plus point.

These are your starter packs but the main course is your overall personality. Many people perceive personality based on using costly accessories, going to expensive places. All of these things are subjective but concerning everyone, it should be basic. The type of personality I am talking about here is how you react or what's your attitude towards any activity, your way of talking to others, decent self-confidence level. Consistency in your habits is more important because at first, everyone seems very good but in long term, your real human will keep you going.

So to do it here are some pro tips:

  • Listen to them attentively
  • Don't scroll your phone
  • Keep your conversation indulging by asking about themself, discuss on topics, tell about yourself too.
  • Don't roam while talking or see somewhere else, this shows you are noet in the conversation and a waste of time and energy for both sides. Try to make eye contact as possible, this shows you are listening.
  • Don't assume that people will always agree with you, it's their perception and you don't have to feel bad about it. There will be some points where you will disagree with them as well. This is actually good because nowadays people are wise enough and they know, who is having their own words. So don't just nod your head at everything they say, take a stand for yourself too.

Socialization really opens up our minds because huge diversified thoughts come to you, there will be bad and good thoughts roaming around you but you have to chose good for you to be happy and healthy.

Cheers!
